Within this last year I have been concentrating more on organizing my stuff than actually making cards. I bought a few items from Stamp N Storage (ink pad storage, 3 shelves, punch storage, embossing folder storage) I had gone back and forth about getting the ink pad storage that also held the markers and ink refills but decided not to. I bought the one that just held the ink pads.
Well, I just placed an order a few days ago and decided to get all the ink refills along with all the new In Color ink pad & cardstock combo along with the ink refills on those also.
NOW, I just need a place to put them all. Well, I have room for the ink pads and cardstock but I have no idea on where to put all these ink refills. UGH!

I bought a mesh drawer unit from Michael's and now store my current color refill bottles in one of the drawers. I have some of my retired refill bottles stored in a unit similar to the stamp'n storage ink/marker/refill holder as well. I prefer the bottles to be standing upright as I find the ink gets messy in the cap when stored on the side in the ink storage unit.
I store mine in binder boxes that sit on a shelf. I put strips of velco in the box and little pieces of velco on the bottles. I've been using this method for a few years and haven't had any leaks.
I purchased an old used china cupboard for $10.00. Someone I knew was moving and just wanted to eliminate it. I took the glass doors on the front off, and use it as my craft storage. It has worked perfect for me.
I store mine in matchbox car containers by color families. I create labels to put in the box so that I can see the color that is there instead of squinting at the bottle. Walmart used to sell clear ones that had trays on both sides so that I could easily store 50 in a box.
Having been a SU demo for over 10 years, I have LOTS of ink refills. I store mine in a matchbox car box. I have over 100 refills and still have room for more. The case has dividers for Matchbox cars, so I just group my ink refills by color (greens, reds, yellows, etc). I can put the "case" in a closet and pull it out when an refill is needed.
I have so many that they take up two drawers. They are sorted by color families and separated by a thin pice of wood that also keeps them upright. The color dot on top is a real timesaver. Not sure who was the inspiration years ago, but I thank you!!!
I got two of these nail polish racks a few months ago to hold my distress and other reinkers and I just love them! I can easily grab the one I want without a bunch of hunting around in containers. Mine are mounted on the wall behind a door so I'm not really worried about any light damage since they will never be in the sun. There are other sizes available, too, as well as ones made out of metal.
I just ordered the nail polish rack that holds 90 some bottles. I can't wait for it to come!
I looked at that one, but it just didn't fit in my room. Our house was built in 1883 and has cupboards and woodwork in odd places and doors everywhere -- I had to get 2 little racks instead and mount one above the other. Hope you like yours! (And I hope the shipping is quick. It's so hard to wait for new goodies!)

I was in a sporting goods store one day and a nice salesman asked if there was anything he could help me find. Being bored, I asked if he had storage boxes for some ink bottles. He smiled, asked, "you mean like reinker bottles?" (seriously?) He admitted his wife was a crafter.
He walked me over to the fishing tackle box aisle. Oh my, an entire aisle devoted to plastic boxes! He even suggested which boxes fit the bottles!
I found a Plano plastic box with a hinged lid, slightly taller than my reinker bottles. It's half full right now with 60 bottles in it with plenty of room for more bottles.
I also found a "large bait box" that was taller still for my alcohol ink bottles.
Now, when my husband wants to go to the sporting goods store, I happily tag along!
I have a Workbox and store my reinkers in the short drawers. I keep sponge wedges with a color tab and a dauber in the same drawer with the reinker. And if I have one, an ink spot. I'm in the process of adding the dots to the tops of the bottles.
I store my reinkers in a drawer. They have eye dropper tops so I cut rings from thin canvas that you buy in pads and coloured them with the ink. Then I wrote the colour on the ring. I will sort them by colour family when I get a chance to make some dividers.

I store them in the same drawer as their matching inkpads. I write an "R" on the bottom of each inkpad for which I have a matching refill. This works well for me.
I store my reinkers in the rectangular baby wipe container boxes. I have my pigment inks in one, regular inks in another, and distress inks is a third.
Really Useful Boxes for me also. I use the size Diane uses for my Distress reinkers; but I use the size that holds a ream of copy paper for all my other: PTI, SU, Brilliance, Memento, Chalk - I NEVER buy an inkpad if I can't get the refills. For my Copic refills, I use the copy paper size, but it's twice as tall. These work great; are stackable; they're sturdy; love these boxes!

I use the large SU cases for wooden stamps. I printed out a liner for the case. On the spine is the color, and on the front are the names of re-inkers inside. These are stored in a box in a cabinet. The box with the color of re-inker needed can easily be brought to my stamping desk. They are alphabetized to make it easier to find what you want. 12 re-inkers fit in a box. These can easily be stored on a bookshelf without the box.

Mine is a little time consuming to cut plastic canvas to fit my drawers but it holds everything in place!
I just did exactly the same, Maus. But I did a few drawers-I have Adirondack Refills, DI ones, Stickles/Pearls/ spray mists/Distress Stains. It was a bit time consuming, but well worth the effort.
I have a set of Alex drawers from IKEA either end of my desktop.

The binder boxes (case) is a box that has binder rings in it. I've had them for years and they hold up well but the price has gone up since I bought them.
I cut the rings out and use them for all sorts of storage (thin dies, stamps, gelatos, etc.). I like that they stack easily, long lasting, and if I ever want more color I can put colored paper on the spines.
Ditto. Those boxes are roughly 1/2 the size of their shoe boxes, stack nicely and are cheap. (When I re-did our garage, I used a ton of many sizes of their "clear boxes," and labeled the contents.)
But The Container Store should be renamed The Enabler Store.
