Glad you've been bitten by the Evernote bug! I think I need a tshirt that says that! LOL.
I used to have a notebook too....I did mine mainly by categories, since that's how I think, but you are SO right....way too time consuming to stamp the images, multiple times in my case since an image can often go in several categories. Now I just add a new note, tag it and I'm DONE!! So easy! And the fact that all my notes/notebooks sync automatically across all my devices....pure heaven!!
I have been trying to download and open the files for SU stamps that Sarah shared, but I get an error message that Adobe cannot open the file because it is not supported or has been damaged. Any ideas?? I updated Adobe maybe 2 months ago. Even have an adobe account to be able to convert files. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My files are Evernote files, so you gave to save the files and then import into the Evernote program
Thank you for sharing about the Evernote App, have downloaded and will slowly be adding all my supplies. What a great way to catalogue everything. I did make a catalogue of my stamps but after stamping a few hundred i stopped , but being able to take pics will be so much easier.
Wow! What an awesome find. Subbing to follow along with ideas. Just downloaded Evernote, I figure since my room is totally ripped apart and re-organizing everything now is probably the best time to start this project. I mainly have SU product so if anyone wants to [email protected]...... I would be forever grateful!!!
Hi Ladies,
I've been using EN for a little while now, but I've been creating my own notebooks. I'm having some trouble trying to figure out the notes ya'll are sharing on here. I've imported one (Embossing folders Aug 2013) to see how it works. I was able to view the file and open it, but EN put it into a new Notebook (Imported Notes). How do I "move" that to a Notebook called Embossing Folders? I tried setting up a new notebook and titling it Emb Fldrs and then importing into that notebook, but that didn't work. I just got the same file in Imported Notes twice. Any help??
Thank you!!
Charlene M.
Hi Charlene, when an item is imported, it is tagged with "Imported Notes". What I do is change that note to the title of the folder I want to move it to.

OMG - you all have lite a fire in me!!! I just recently heard and downloaded EN to my Iphone, but have not had the time to play with it. Reading this thread has really caught my desire to start using it. So I will be downloading it to my MAC tonight and taking advantage of ALL the wonderful and exciting NOTEBOOKs shared here. It also sounds like EN Pro is the best way to go to get the full shebang. Now growing some patience til this evening ARRRRRRR.... thank you all for contributing to this thread and for your willingness to share your notebooks and make life easier for so many of us that are not as computer savvy. Please keep this thread going too!
I saw all of the files and have downloaded some. You ladies are awesome!! Does anyone know what the difference between EverNote and OneNote is?
Thanks!
Cindy

April,
My notebooks are in this forum...just go back a few pages and download the ones you want....
Make sure you save them and then import them into your EN program....
I want to thank you so much for your evernote lists ... they are the bomb. I followed you here from Facebooks 2011 get organized challenge group... Once I see how it is organized I love Evernote ... I have most of my stamp sets (and I am running you a very close race LOL) in a notebook already stamped ... so I just have to go through and mark them off now as they are put into Evernote. I will gladly share my other company ones as I get them ready ... l had originally done this same principle in CMs Memory Manager but it isn't portable like this one is ... laptop, ipad, and iphone ... the bomb ... I owe you Sarah -- thanks a million
HELP...I was able to get a file from one of the ones posted into Evernote. Now, I'm not doing the right thing as I can't view it. I can click the file, but all it does is download it again.
I've googled and youtubed and can't find how to view the file.
Folder title: Embossing folders
The actual file is on the right, but not viewable.

Did you import the file into your evernote program? Normally once I import the file, it will rename it "import file" or something like that and then I either rename the file or I drag the notes to whatever notebook I want them into.
do many of you use the premium version of EN versus the free version. A friend and I are looking at the differences. I told her for as much as I have on there it would take a lot to get over the top. Do any of you use the moleskein notebooks or post its?
Okay I decided that I am going to start working on my cricut cartridges here and then I will post the notebook to share if anyone wants it. Will not guarantee all the key words but will work on it as I go. I am working on getting clear pictures of what is on the cartridges too. Any suggestions are welcome
Spent yesterday working on the import issue. I figured out that on the web version of EN there isn't an "import" option. That is only available with the app.
So, I played with the app and one of the files I got from here. Import was available but the file was always grayed out so I couldn't import. What I needed to do was delete the second ending beyond their .enex and then it worked.
Okay I worked the last two or so days working on getting my CRICUT cartridges organized and cataloged in evernote. I am attaching the file (I hope I exported it correctly -- if not please let me know).
There are about 72 cartridges on here all the Creative Memories and CTMH ones are listed. I have also developed a tag that tells me the location of the cartridge (like which artbin box it is in)
I wanted to develop this location system to go with my scrap rack as I put things in it but still be able to find things
[QUOTE=sarahwms;20233667]Right now I have SU Stamps (Current); SU Stamps (Retired); Big Shot Dies; Embosslits and Embossing Folders; Stamps (Non-SU); SU Wheels (Current); SUWheels (Retired); SU Punches

Sarah -- are you breaking down the supplies to like embellishments, I did embossing powders, and my Flower Soft colors. Or are you keeping your embellishments in your scrap rack?
Do you list any of the stuff from the Scrap Rack into EVERNOTE?
Do you now how to change the resolution on the pictures so they do not take up as much space? I use my iphone and have to figure out to take lower res pictures
I feel the same way. I cannot tell you how many times I have just stood with my mouth open in front of the Spellbinders displays at stores just thinking, "Wait, do I have that one? Or was it this one?"
In my Spellbinders notebook I have the names of what I have, how many in the set, and most important to me a pic of the front of the set and the sizes of the dies.
That is one improvement Spellbinders could do. Make their die cards show the sizes of the dies. I have Joann's, Micheal's and AC Moore all within 25 miles of my home. Only 1 of these stores have the Spellbinder cards (the ones you take up to the cashier in order for her to get them out of the locked cages) show on the back of the card the actual size of the dies. I still feel the measurements would be nice as well.
I have a notebook for embossing folders, Stampin' Up! ink pads and refills, Distress ink pads and markers, My colored pencils brands, Prismacolor, Inktense, Aquarelle from Staedler and what colors each brand has.
My Stampin' Up! stamp sets (I am a demonstrator so I have more of those than any others)
Other companies stamps like Recollections, Fiskars, etc.
Then there are the clear stamps notebook.
Plus paper punches in 1 notebook, paper stacks, Spectrum Noir markers, SU card stocks, SU DSP pads, SU tools and machines in another. The machines notebook has things like the company, the make and the model numbers. Company contact information, date I sent the warranty card in, how long the warranty for was, when it ran out, etc. (Yes, I am a stereotypical Virgo, which makes me an organization freak).
Do any of these notebooks help?
I am wondering if you would consider sharing your notebook with me? I would even pay you for all the time you have spent doing this!!!
I am so amazed at all you have done. Thanks so much!

Karen, I don't own a scrap rack, and, yes, I have a few notebooks for embellishments....embossing powders, h2o colors, pearl-ex powders....misc embellishments (like buttons, eyelets, etc) I keep in jars in a spice rack so they aren't in Evernote.
Not sure about the picture size...I know you can change it in photo editing programs.
I have heard about Evernote, downloaded, but haven't started using it yet...I guess I should!!!
I absolutely love Evernote and use it as a reminder list and it shows up on all my devices. I also use it to copy parts of articles or entire articles to do with stamping. Hope you have already downloaded it b/c I am a bit late replying to this post.

I have notebook for all brands of dies and one for stamps. I include the Company name in the title. Once I get home tonight I'll try to load my notebooks. I have some Spellbinders loaded and most of my Memory Box and Impression Obsession. I have lots of stamps from many companies.

What a great idea. I've been using EN for quite a while but never thought to use it this way. This will be such a big help with the search feature, once I get everything uploaded. Thank you so much, ladies for the great files to help get me started. They are a great time saver.
