Have you been wanting to do something more with your photos other than boxing them up, leaving them on the cell phone, or hard drive?
We can convey our ideas, impressions, along with our history when we make photos into scrapbook pages. We can then portray our aspirations or ideals for the realities the photos represent.
When you read the quote below, replace the word "art" with "scrapbook pages".
"Closing thoughts - Why we make art? What motivates artists to create art?
In fact, art is the only way we can relay our experiences effectively to others.
Good stories [journaling] have to be able to convey a thought, reflection, and meaning to a person who was never part of any of those experiences.
The challenge is to creatively bring together reality, imagination, medium, and technique to produce something that will make the audience feel like they are part of that story.
Art matters."
Quoted from online article from "The Artist".
Your challenge is to draw inspiration from the picture with it's own quote, or be inspired by the quote from the magazine quote. Of course, any combination is fine.
