Hi, & Welcome to this week's Inspiration Challenge. This week we are headed to Tim Holtz's Sizzix Board I believe the pins on this board ( which has 2500+ pins) are things created by his design team, and I had to chuckle to my self as it makes sense he has a dt but, its not something that I have really thought about. I know what you are thinking, what rock does she live under? ha, Evidently I am not bombarded with emails from them at any rate and I do own tons of products. So, it is my hope you will see something that jump starts an idea, even if it is not using the products shown. Have fun with this.
I am looking forward to see what sparks you all.
The new normal for the Inspiration challenge will be using more and more social media sites as they are already hosting the photographs being used for Inspiration. ;(if written permission has not been granted by the person who has taken it) Use the keyword: IC789;(no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words. Include your inspiration image in the description of your project.
Use the Keyword IC789 Here is a link to theIC789 Gallery
How to Play ~View the images online in the store or Pinterest. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping! Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery post in this thread. Thanks for Joining along with us!
NEED HELP GETTING A LINK TO YOUR INSPIRATION PICTURE? Since so many are having trouble grabbing the link to just one picture, please try this:
If you are unable to grab the link of your chosen picture, (on some sites, you can't, it only gives a link to the whole collection), hover over the picture in the collection that you want to link to. On a windows machine, right click the picture (on a Mac, 2 finger click). When the options come up, select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS. This link will be for that picture.
Just so you all know, I am subscribed to this thread but, I am not seeing any entries in the key worded gallery, so it is a good idea for you all to leave a direct link to your project here for people to find you.

Sweet Stacy - I love your choice of inspiration sites today and had to laugh as I must live under the same rock you do - I would never have thought to look for something like this. I spent WAY to many hours looking but did finally fet a valentine card made!
Stacy- what a wonderful inspiration site- thank you! I was able to indulge my love of layers and mixed media- combining this with the All about You challenge for Friday. This is the bird image with the woodgrain and layering that inspired me- I love this baby mouse image- thought he would be happy hiding in the sushi "grass"- near a tree. Added a fan style waxed paper element above my tree, along with a vertical right corrugated border topped with a horizontal crosshatch style border. Did gathered twine and a gathered and knotted yarn embellishment, and added 2 sentiment panels, faux outline stitched with petal embellishments on 1. Finished with a olive green grains sticker from my lunch. I went with a green and brown color scheme- here's Mixed Media Mouse

I really like and admire the TH style, have lots stash to do it, but rarely go that route. Probably because I think it's going to take more time than I want to spend, but then again don't most things take longer than expected? This was really fun and I learned a few things, too. Thanks, Stacy. here is the envelope that I made and mention in the description, as well.
This card was made for my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking goal, and it is for my 2022 Christmas card stash. This challenge gave me my color scheme...white and gold.
This is my inspiration from the Pinterest Board...Tim Holtz's Sizzix Board: I chose this card...I love the white and gold: Peace At Christmas! I kept the Christmas tree theme and the white & gold colors. I changed the BG to a mitered patterned paper design, used no embossing, and kept the gold foil sentiment. I did not use the same tree die and mounted mine on a popped framing. I also used more layering panels to arrive at my card front.
