I missed everyone last week, however I did get a chance to browse the gallery and WOW! you totally rocked it!
This week I'm in the mood for inspirational cuteness! So this week's inspiration site is "Marks & Spencer (M&S) - the KIDS section only!". ! How can we help but to be deeply inspired by all their happy faces and adorable outfits! So I invite you to take the special challenge of sticking with the KIDS section of the site for your inspiration :p
Challenge Goals: Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image reminds you of it. Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today .
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded five of my favorites...so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger. Please let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Thanks for the fun challenge!!!! There were lots of beautiful items there.....I loved the feature they had of showing the models when you put your mouse on the apparel items, but not when it came to the underwear items.....very smart! Anyhoo.....I had a blast with this one......see you next week!!!
Man, the clothes they make for kids now are so so so cute! I remember when my oldest (now 31) was a toddler... we couldn't find anything but overalls, jeans and t-shirts. If I ever become a grandmother, i'm going to go bankrupt.
Audrie- awesome inspiration, thanks! I actually got to visit Marks and Spencer in London in 1997 and loved it. As I bought the Mr. Man books for my kids, I was inspired today by the Mr. Man socks- the red ones in particular. . I used Paper Smooches' Vegetastic stamp set for my whimsical tomato, and added some red gingham ribbon and fabric. Here's We Must Ketchup

Audrie- just had to look at the baby girl clothes- and found this adorable Pure Cotton Happy Apple Applique T- Shirt - I was inspired by its whimsical theme, and bright colors, especially magenta and green. I used Papertrey Ink's Greenhouse set for my flowers, and Paper Smooch's Vegetastic set for my peas. Accented my images with adhesive rhinestones, dotted washi tape, and baker's twine. Here's Peas and Flowers
