Hi, & Welcome to this week's Inspiration Challenge. This week we are headed to Fine Gardening Magazine Their Pinterest boards are seen here: I have been puttering around home a lot this time of year, mostly outside in the garden so, sometimes it's fun to see what other people are growing or how they are creating outdoor spaces at home and such online when its too dark & buggy to be outside or you know early in the AM on the first few cups of coffee. and I came across this pin, ( which you may want to look at my pin before my sample) as my sample does not look at all like the jump start I used and I just wanted to mention that, if you are new to the inspiration challenge there are no hard and fast rules about duplicating what you see. It's more of a something you seen sparked an idea that let you go get inky. and for me, it was seeing this photo and words together it made me think of this IO sentiment I bought a long time ago and have not played with yet. ( that is another thing I have been trying to do this year is make a dent in my new purchases pile and play with it.) I hope you enjoy poking around in this site and I am looking forward to seeing what sparks you all.
The new normal for the Inspiration challenge will be using more and more social media sites as they are already hosting the photographs being used for Inspiration. (if written permission has not been granted by the person who has taken it) Use the keyword: IC754(no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words. Include your inspiration image in the description of your project being sure to only include
How to Play View the images at Pinterest. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping! Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Since so many are having trouble grabbing the link to just one picture, please try this:
If you are unable to grab the link of your chosen picture, (on some sites, you can't, it only gives a link to the whole collection), hover over the picture in the collection that you want to link to. On a windows machine, right click the picture (on a Mac, 2 finger click). When the options come up, select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS. This link will be for that picture.
...and a challenge right down my alley, Stacy! I actually have the day off and after I drink my espresso and sit in my garden, I can't wait to play in the IC this week!
I'm not fond of working from Pinterest boards, but this one appealed to me. I really enjoyed painting flowers, but was inspired to go another directions. Thank you.

I'm not sure the inspiration I used was even on the right Pinterest board. I get carried away on Pinterest going down rabbit holes.

I am playing Challenge cardmaking, and hopefully, doing some catching up...some are old...some are newer. This is a February birthday card for a long-time friend that we've not been able to see during Covid!
