The Inspiration Challenge started in Nov. 2005 with a single inspiration picture & a single Hostess..Karen Haman(kthaman). In 2008, she handed over the reins to Stephanie Severin (SmilynStef). In 2013, Audrie Magno-Gordon (girlgeek101) took over until 2017 when the current team of Julie Warner (justwritedesigns), Angie Bode (ohmypaper!), Brenda O'Rear (Benzi), Stacy Sheldon (JBgreendawn), & Anne Harmon (jdmommy) took over.
This week's challenge is a little different & I'll let you know in advance, some of us had a little trouble when we tried to veer off the main page. So please, just stick to this one page (it's a really long scroll) & do not try to use the search box or click anything else. If you do have trouble, I'm going to provide a LOT of pictures for you down below. This week's Inspiration is Quora-Color Question.. There really is a ton of choice here, so hurry on over, it out & pick what appeals to you & go create! Be sure to link us up to what inspired you..
And because I have also been having trouble w/ the link once it's added here, you can copy & paste this link (without the quotes) into your browser & it should work around the problem: "https://www.quora.com/What-is-your-favourite-colour-and-why" I apologize in advance for any problems this causes.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many, or too little, images to choose from, I've uploaded 5 (or more) of my favorite designs! So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS.

How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). NEED HELP LINKING A CARD? FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Open 2 windows. One for your card, one for this thread. 2. In this thread, click on reply and type what you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window, highlight the address for your card. (The address bar will say //www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...stampers.....) 4. Click edit. Click Copy.
5. Go back to this thread. Click Paste.
NEED HELP GETTING A LINK TO YOUR INSPIRATION PICTURE?
If you are unable to grab the link of your chosen picture, (on some sites, you can't, it only gives a link to the whole collection), hover over the picture in the collection that you want to link to. On a windows machine, right click the picture (on a Mac, 2 finger click). When the options come up, select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS. This link will be for that picture. However, I do not knowingly use Facebook at any time...I used kthaman's card to access the site without the annoying "follow Facebook" gateway. I do not feel Facebook(Instagram, etc) is a responsible entity. I appreciate that you also supplied a great number of thumbnails that we could use. Thank you.
well i'm an idiot...i do not see how you navigate to find all those pictures. the site asked me for my choices on what to see, i chose 8, then it takes me to a place where i can see people answers to the questions but i don't see any lovely pictures. Help!!!!

sent you a pm, Jean, but here's the answer again. You WILL see answers to questions. It's a forum. It's a really long scroll & as long as you just keep scrolling & don't click anything, you'll see all the lovely pictures.
We've had some trouble w/ the link after it was added to the challenge. If you copy & paste this link into your browser (without the quotes), it will take you there. Do not use the search box or click anything else on the page. Simply keep scrolling down. It goes for a long, long way.

I totally understand, Sallie. For some reason, after the link is formatted on SCS, it directs you to FB first. That's why I provided the unformatted link just below it. If you copy & paste it w/o the quotes into your browser, it will bypass any FB nonsense.
Here's my card for the big IC700 gallery! Thanks to all our past and present hostesses. I so very much appreciate the thought and effect that goes into bringing us this challenge every week!
I tried that, I think I did too much originally on the page and now it isn't working either. Silly me, but thanks. I just chose a thumb nail I liked. Beautiful pictures.

I've been sort of busy all day ...it's so nice here I had to take advantage of the warm weather. But this is one of my favorite challenges so I just had to play along for #700 ;). I chose one of the photos from that purple block of 9. Thanks to all the hostesses and the IC TEAM!
