I am so excited to kick off my first Inspiration Challenge with a ton of inspiring photos that I pinned myself on Pinterest. I normally pin for this Pinterest Board whenever the colors, the mood, or the message behind the photo is inspiring to me. I hope you will be inspired by it too!
Learning from the example of my mentor SmilynStef, and for those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many choices, I've uploaded five of my favorites � so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger. For those of you that want more - there are over 200 lovely photos to choose from! Either way, please let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please. IC inspirational selections should only link back to this board please (smiles).
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Woo hoo!! Your very first challenge is a fabulous one!!! I have to confess....this is the first entire Pinterest page I have ever checked out and wow, is it a good'un!!!! Your taste in colors and textures are amazing! Can't wait to play!!

WOW Audrie...you made it hard this week with so much inspiration!! I loved a bunch of stuff on your Pinterst site..I even Pinned several of your items..( I especially loved the watercolors) :p Here's my card:
I was inspired to do another card after seeing this watercolor with its bright colors. I used a "new to me" set- SU's Very Thankful- and repeated the dotted pattern from the turtle with my embossed background (CB's Spots and Dots ef) and my polka dot ribbon. Here's Thankful Turtle

I finally finished mine. A lot harder than I thought. I had the perfect card in my head before going to sleep last night, but reality foiled that one. It's time for some supply shopping! Thanks for the great challenge. An even bigger thanks for narrowing down the choices. I would still be looking at Pinterest well into next week if I would have had that big a selection!
Audrie, congratulations on your first post, and a fabulous post it is. I will definitely be playing along, but at this point it looks as if Tuesday will be my first opportunity. Again, fantastic inspiration.
