This weeks Inspiration Challenge site Urban Art Loft was suggested by Pam (Bailmac) seriously, I have so many pieces bookmarked, I could probably make inspired cards for days (so dont blame us if you get lost for hours in the inspiration) there is certainly something for everyone this week.
And remember out of respect for the creative originality of these talented artists, please do not print out photos of the items to use directly on your project or copy a piece exactly.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many choices, Ive uploaded five of my favorites so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration.
The rest of you, remember to let us know which item from Urban Art Loft that inspired you.
Use the keyword: IC316 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Now off to finalize the prep for tonight's dinner. The traditional Italian food has been prepared compliments of hubby and daughter, and it's early enough in the day that once I set the table, I may whip up a batch of cupcakes and then have a chance to put my feet up before the festivities begin!
Merry Christmas and may you be surrounded by those you love whatever you celebrate during this season!!!
For today's Inspiration Challenge, Urban Loft, I chose Jingle Bells- I liked the rustic feel of this image, so I put an old fashioned Santa, and moved the mittens to the top of the card. I included the tree, but as a standalone image beside Santa. I used some ripped corrugated cardboard, and daubed the card with distressing ink, as well as roughing up the edges.
Here is Mittens and Lists

I was inspired by Ooh La La l- I stamped this high heel image, and curled the paper to show the gilded underside. I had this cool polka dot stamp from Great Impressions which I used for my left vertical border. The latticed border is from my stamping friends I used a swirly stamped image, outlined in bronze and silver for the center so as to not distract too much from this cool high heel. Here is my French Shoe For You

Finally tonight a little time to stamp the IC! And back to work in the a.m., bummer, my craft desk finally saw the light of day as the holiday stamps and scraps are now cleared away.
