Great challenge. I figured out a way to make a decorative edge to a circle without the right kind on edge punch. Others have probably already figured it out but new for me.

Here's my take. I have been looking at the gallery and all of the cards are beautiful. I went with the soft colors and white. The cuttlebug was used for texture. I chose Joy Illuminations because of the joy I felt from the peace and tranquility of the room.
Thanks for a great challenge Karen.

I just now got a chance to sit down for today's challenge. What a great set of inspirational images. Now I am off to choose. I may have to do more than one... Nah, I need to be realistic with myself.

This was my first challenge to participate in- and what a nice one to start with! I loved how the couches in the living room have such a soft look... hence the soft sky. I used a little soft sky prints dsp as a layer too, and to help soften it even more I sanded the heck out of it first. Then on the whisper white layer that I stamped the sentiment on I watercolored the entire thing very lightly in soft sky as well.
This room made me think of such relaxation... hence the stamp I used. I loved the soft colors and whites with the splashes of cocoa in the rug and books, and you can see in my card how I portrayed that...
hope you like it! tfl!
