Zoom crafting anyone?

I’m looking for anyone interested in a zoom get together to stamp. Not much required other than stamping whatever and making a new friend. I’m open to day time get together.

I’ve participated in a few online crafting events that were fun. I think you might get more response, if you designated a time (include the time zone), date(s) and provided contact info for people to ask for the link. Go aheas and plan your event, and just invite people to it.

I have hosted Zoom meetings during recent Virtual Stamp Night (VSN Challenges) and it has been fun! Some ladies are actively crafting, others just chatting about their crafts or showing projects. I would definitely be interested in meeting more people in a different Zoom.

Paula, we have a stamp club that meets in Metairie on the 2nd Saturday of every month.
Sassy NOLA Stampers.
We also meet in Zoom twice a week on Thursdays and Saturdays at 1 pm. Even when we meet in person, we do the Zoom meeting from there too, because we have a couple friends that are out of state.

I participated in a zoom stamping event last month and it was so fun. There were about 25 of us. We're doing it again today so I have everything stamped ahead of time and will color my autumn cards. I would love to join another one since this one is only once a month. I have no idea how to set it up but will be happy to join one ;).

If we are going to get this going, we have to make a definite plan. I can host on Jitsi which is a free and doesn't require a download and there's no time limit. If you are interested, please list specific times you can attend and the most popular time wins!

I'll start. I can do evening eastern time. So, anytime after 8:00 pm Monday through Thursday or Sunday afternoon or evening.

No, Jitsi is a different application. All you do is click on the link and put in your name. You don't have to pay for anything or download anything.

You will need a time zone calculator as well as a calendar appointment to set up your fun craft time. = 8:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time is 7:00 pm in Central Daylight Time where I live. And somebody could join you from London, England at 1:00 am.

From the answers it looks like Monday (specifically eagle777's request) which is one of the "weekday evenings" which was indicated by a few people.

Here's what I'm going to do to accomodate as many people as possible around the States. I'm going to run it this :

Monday night
August 30th
from 8:00 pm Eastern to midnight Eastern
(8 pm - 12 am -> 4 hours)

That way it will give those farther west to still be able to join in their evening.

At my last zoom, we each did our own thing and then chatted throughout. I stamped a few things ahead of time so I didnt' spend all my time thinking about what I wanted to do. I worked on Halloween cards then. This time I will work on Christmas cards ;).
