I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who worked at the Splitcoast Booth and the sponsors that donated the supplies for the make and takes.
I was lucky enough to participate in make and takes yesterday from Just Rite, Taylored Expressions & Eclectic Paperie.
I was so honoured to meet Lori Craig & Jenn Balcer :-D in person and get help from some wonderful women at the booth including Taylor's Mum.
It's been a great couple of days! It was so fun seeing the very talented SCS designers, Daven and the member companies! The cupcakes were so very yummy - great way to start the day! The make and takes were well organized, beautiful and fun! Love the SCS stamp too!!
It was fun running into other SCS members throughout the day -- it's like having instant friends!
It was such a treat to meet all the hardworking SCS ladies at CHA today. Thanks for all you did there and continue to do to make this community wonderful.

I agree!! I was only able to do one make and take this morning at w/ the Crafty Secrets girls, but I got to meet the SCS gals!!! We made a HUGE impression when my mom almost took down the adjoining booth w/ her scooter!!!! Remember me now girls?? Yes, it's Maria aka doggonecrafts!!! It was so neat meeting you gals I tell you...you made me star struck!
Thanks again
I watched the Lizzie Anne make-and-take and did the Taylored Expressions one. Taylor gave away a free stamp to everybody who did hers! And it's super cute with a sentiment and everything.

I am happily going to echo Jenn's post because I can't even believe how wonderful it was to meet everyone who I have always "known" on-line and not to mention how awesome those cupcakes were!
enjoyed seeing you all from a distance... nice to put a real face with the on line face. it was crowded and i didn't get to make a pin with your stamp. maybe next time. everyone seemed warm and fuzzy from about three rows back lol..... we came by the booth twice during the day and you were packed both times GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!!!!! great community...
I had the best time of my life! Those of you who didn't get near the SCS booth just didn't hang in there like I did. I didn't get to ALL the make & takes @the SCS booth, but I did most of them. It was so much fun meeting everyone and all were so nice!

We're so glad you came by, Cindy! I'm still all glow-y from all the good times. Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to blog about it. Today, I tried on the plane and just cried again! Sheesh!
PS Where's Lori? Did she stay on for Disney? Can't wait to see the pic she took of me w/ Angela (Unity Stamps). I bet I look like a bag lady next to her. Such a georgeous, talented and sweet lady!
I was SO thrilled to win their GENEROUS $500 basket of stamps at the Charity Crop!
Thanks for the pics but OMG I look awful. Wish I had had time to prepare for a photo shoot! (It would have helped a little) And I don't know what was going on with my mouth:confused:
Anyway it was great fun meeting everyone and you guys were just great!
I too couldn't get near the booth when I tried, LOL~
I did catch an off moment and get to make the I "heart" Splitcoast pin. And I got to meet Jenn in line at the PTI booth. So I guess where there's a will, there's a way.
Sure. . . let it be known that I exited the booth to shop, LOL! It was great meeting you, Deb!
Listen up, everyone! I met Jenn around 4 pm on Friday afternoon. She had been at the SCS booth ALL DAY, working her fingers to the bone doing M&T and such.
And besides, her adorable orange shoes were GREAT PR for SCS.

There. How was that, Jenn?
Now THAT is what I'm talkin' about! I like that mental picture - much more true to what happened, LOL!
I bet if you take a poll of how many people would go to an SCS convention it would be somewhere in the hundreds if not thousands. From what I saw at CHA SCS had the longest line and they weren't even selling anything.
Washington DC sounds good but, I would go for somewhere in the middle. I'm from the East Coast and would travel half way but, not all the way across the map.

Wasn't that great? Our Splitcoast family is nothing short of amazing, incredible, fantabulous. LOVED meeting so many friends!
