Right now I am only getting feelers out. I am in the Pottstown area and I am considering locations from the Reading-Exton-King of Prussia-Boyertown and everything in between areas. I have a few places up my sleeve and I am sure if I can get at least 15 people I can get a place for a reasonable price, if not nearly free.
I am hoping for a late August date (21, 28- it's looking more like the 28th) on a Saturday form 9-5ish. We'd do a pot luck for lunch and snacks. I'd like to keep the cost around $15-20 which will cover the space. We'd make full cards... it's would be normal SBS happenings... supplies for each person, directions, sample.
I found a place that requires a minimum of ten people. They charge $10 person but will give each of us a $10 voucher to use in their store. It's called Inspired Treasures and is in Boyertown.
Joyclynn, I may not be able to do the 28th now either, so don't worry about scheduling around me. I have the opportunity to vendor at the Scrap Stamp Art Tour Show in Hamburg, NY, and I think I am going to go for it. Maybe I can make it next time!

I'm good for the 28th but I have NO supplies to make a shoebox swap, which means you are going to have to dig some stuff out of my pile of crap so I can use it...lol
Oh - and that means we have to have a girls night so you can help me make a swap - cause I haven't done anything in over a year... but of course, you know that....lol

Krys, you KNOW i'd do the swap prep for you. All you need to worry about is showing up and having fun... and bringing some tastefully simple!
Great idea to do this. Of course no one told me about it. I just happened upon this on a search for great things to do this summer. It will be good seeing you since it has been awhile.
sorry no one told you. no one really told anyone. G asked me if I wanted her to invite people and I told her not till I firmed up the date. Next time we do a stamping day I hope to see you there. We haven't been stamping much lately :(
Joyclynn- what time is this going to be in Boyertown because I am able to come if it is in the AM and early afternoon. I don't have to be where I need to go until 3PM????? I may be able to swing it after all.
ever since I joined SCS i've been looking for others in PA to get together with, but the gatherings are always more than 2 hours from me. I have no clue where boyertown or sinking spring is. I have heard of pottstown. The last two weeks of august are out for me though. the first is dd's bday and the 2nd we are camping.

It looks like you are about an hour and a half from Sinking Spring. It's northeast of Lancaster. Maybe it will work out another time .

I am going to have to cancel this event due to lack of interest. Sue, if you would like to get together to stamp or scrap some day, let me know. Most of the ladies in this group are ladies I meet up with regularly otherwise. It doesn't make sense to me to spend money at a store unnecessarily. I'd love to have you over my place if you'd like. Maybe Cheri could make it too
