A shoebox swap in the great state of Oklahoma, Broken Arrow to be exact. I have room for 10 so sign up now. You will need to supply enough material for 10 kits actually just 9 plus your sample. Potluck snacks. Feb 20 at 2:00 pm. To be held in my home in Broken Arrow. Anyone is welcome to attend.

A shoebox swap is where you bring a card or project example. Not something that takes a ton of time to do but maybe up to 15-20 minutes. You get kits together for each of the ladies attending. up to 9 kits as I have space for 10 players. You have the card stock cut and the embellishments ready. Then each participant will assemble their project. Usually the participants stamp their own image, color and assemble and the kits are there for each person to make. Kind of like a make and take. During the shoebox swap each person moves from each station and completes their projects. Just alot of fun and getting new ideas for projects. Hope you will join us
I would absolutely love to come, but I'm afraid my stuff just isn't "up to snuff" yet. I'm pretty new to stamping, so I think I'll sit this one out & spare everyone any project I might come up with. Thanks so much for inviting me.
Scrapezoid. I will pm later but you are so welce to come. To me this swap is about meeting others not how amazing your project is. All are welcome matter your skill level. I hope you decide to come.
Where is Broken Arrow located? I live in the panhandle of Texas and wonder if it is close enough that I could make it? I have never been to a shoebox swap either... there are not too many gatherings up here!
So, from me that's on the OTHER side of OKC... Too far for a day trip... Maybe another time something in OK will come my way... Thanks for the answer though... Have a Merry Christmas.
Ok so our get together is next month!! Time to start talking and we have 3 spots open as one had to back out due to prior commitments. If you can bring a snack for our pot luck and I will be offering door prizes so if you have something you want to contribute to that it would be great. I have my project in mind just gotta get it done
I am still planning on coming, just not sure what I am going to bring for a project. We had a great time last time we came and am looking forward to it.

My project is going to be using a digi stamp (yes one of my own so no copyright probs here) I wanted to do that because alot of people I meet ask about digi stamps so I thought maybe others had questions.
I still can't make up my mind about a project. I need to decide soon. Did you check with Misti(Scrapperwannabe) to see if she wanted to come this time?

Sherri don't be nervous it is fun and everyone just has a good time. There are always new stampers and more experienced stampers and always some new technique etc to be learned by all.
Your project does not have to be a card although most usually are.
I have decided on not doing a card project but not going to tell a whole lot to give it away
2 spots still open I have some e-mails out to some local non-SCS girls hopefully they will fill the 2 open places if not we will just go with 8 and that will be plenty of fun. My 12 year old may take a spot. She does Alys Sunday challenge blog so is already a veteran stamper

Angie and I are working on our projects. Hers involves stamping an image in colored ink. She wants to know if it will save time if she stamps for everyone or should she let each stamp their own....
