Hi, Nancy! Ill take one 80#, one 100# whiteOne vanilla and one white envelopes.
How much for the 100# vanilla?
I just saw a post from Becky that she will be happy to supply anyone interested with tickets for the Stamp & Scrapbook show at the OCC campus on May 19-20. Please LMK if you'd like tickets.
There are only a few days left to register. Please tell your friends! As always, it would be great to have an even number for the tables. If we top out below 30 as it's looking, we'll have three tables rather than four.
I now have payments for everyone on the list. I'm going to give it a couple more days just in case we might have someone wanting a spot. It would be great if we could get to at least 27 to make the tables evenly divisible. With the numbers lower than expected, I think we'll plan to do 3 tables again vs. the usual 4.
I know I put on a good event so I am sad to see the numbers in decline. Curiosity question...have these events come to the end of their days of interest?

Issue for me is the date already had other plans hope to make the fall gathering.
I think May is a tough month-college graduations, weddings, baby showers etc, plus after a winter where you are shut in the house a lot, warm weather week-ends are busy with gardening and day trips. Maybe a different month???
It's been May & November (or late October) since the beginning. June has the same conflicts with HS grads, weddings and showers. July and August are often vacation months.
There are also other nearby events scheduled in other months so plenty of chances for people to attend something somewhere.
not sure why numbers have been lower this year.i went to all.but buffalo.only because it was the same day as poughkeepsie.
I waited all winter for our gatherings just to start.and somehow there are only 2 more.
as for an answer-it's hard.because us diehards are still attending~
I think we are seeing people moving into busy life phases...I know for me, retirement and grandbabies have taken a huge chunk of my time. I have committed to a couple monthly weekend events since retiring and often find myself at odds with dates. I hate cancelling committed events to accept ‘new’ events, and do it rarely. For me, most local events are scrapping events where you work on your own things. I have to think we will see another shift in a few years
I hear what you're saying, especially about the grandbabies, Beth. My OnStage weekend (and planned IKEA visit) is being impacted by the baptism of the newest.
I had some time this morning (before my Easter bunnies arrive) so have gone ahead with finalizing.
Please bring 4 completed projects + make up 18 packets of materials **in kits** to make your project. Extra parts to fix any "oops" should also be provided. There will be two tables with 9 stampers and one table with 8 (but we will hope for just one late add on to make the tables even).
Do NOT do any stamping ahead of time. That takes the fun out of making your card! You can, however, do any die cutting or punching or dry embossing that doesn’t require stamping to be done beforehand.
Your project for the morning and afternoon should be all the same, except for possible color variations. Please use only quality products and make these something you’d be thrilled to get yourself.
You'll see that none of the swaps have final counts noted yet, but I have included the info in Post #1 on page 1. The numbers you see as final in my list won't agree yet with the swap lists but they will jibe soon.
I am posting them here to make another spot to find them.
Recipe - Final Count 13 -- Post #10
NVR Card Front - Final Count 20 -- Post #12
SUO* - Final Count 15 -- Post #9<o:p
Fancy Fold - Final Count 22 -- Post #8
2-1/2” Squares - Final Count 13 --Post #7
12” x 12” Scrapbook Layout - Final Count 7 -- Post#14</o

I think the low numbers are because there are too many events. We've hit a maximum .
I also feel that social media has slowed traffic on SCS. People are missing events because they don't log on daily anymore .

Now that I can't get on at work, I hardly get on here unless I have a feeling a thread will be up about a gathering. I hate it myself. I like the computer screen not the phone to check on here. When I get home I am busy with life stuff. Don't get me wrong I am missing SCS. I miss knowing what is going on. I can't make it to Nancy's because I have a baby shower that I truly have to go to. Life has gotten so busy and here Brent and I thought it would slow down once the youngest graduated. Yeah no, this is the busiest we have ever been. Especially with the grandchildren.
