I think I've just completed a first.....aside from the gift exchange, I am finished. Not quite sure how it happened, but I'm glad it did!
Diane....re the SU! Only, thanks for reminding people. This time of year is tough with SAB just ended, only some of the Occasions catalog carrying over and all of the retiring product. I'm using up some retiring in-colors, but the design can be duplicated with different colors.
It will be good to see everyone next week!
Just a reminder, if you are doing SU! only PLEASE use only current sets. Salebration is NOT acceptable. If you are a demo, you have access to the new catalog and can find what's in it and everyone should have seen the retiring list. Recently I have been in 2 different swaps where several of the sets used were SAB. Many of us do this swap to have current samples to share with our customers using sets we may not have purchased, but our customers will. Thanks for your cooperation in this.
PS I understand that DSP will be retiring and that is okay, because most do not have the new stuff yet.....unless you were at Onstage and ordered ;)
Ok, new demo here, I think I am screwed. I used the Flourishing phrases which is in the catalog coming up, but I used wasabi paper and ink, SU bling & decorative label punch. I don't have any of the new catalog stuff yet. I used stuff that was still in the catalog ending on May 31st :
The box is NOT wrapped. We wouldn't be able to take pictures if they were.
As for filling it, I'll have to leave that to all the individuals swapping. It wasn't part of the listed requirements; but I know if I were trading a box, I'd have to throw some candies in it.

Catherine (and all participants in SUO swap):
1) You've used a stamp set that is carrying over and Wasabi CS and ink is also carrying over. If it's the pearls or rhinestones that's your bling, no worries there. While the pearls & rhinestones were on the retiring list, they are being RECONFIGURED not being done away with.
2) As for the punch, that is something easily replaced if someone feels the need to remake your swap into something current.
Regardless, if you have already completed your swaps, please know that no one will turn up their nose at receiving it.

No worries Catherine, Linda addressed your questions and I'm sorry is I upset you or anyone. Your swap will be fine.
You know we always offer garage sale items. You can price them as you wish and sell whatever you want EXCEPT current Stampin' Up! items. If items are in a current catalog (Occasions or Annual), they are STILL considered current even if they are sold out and no longer available. Sale-A-Bration items can be sold. Those are SU!'s rules, not mine.
That said, I am posting here some retired designer papers only so you can look them up in advance because the packages are all sealed. You don't have to ask in advance but they'll be first come, first claimed. If no one is interested, we won't drag it along.
For the Garage Sale, I will also have a new bunch of wood mounted Stampin Up vintage stamps for sale at $1 each and also packages of 40 assorted 12x12 cardstock papers for $8 ( that's 20 cents a sheet) that are embossed, flocked or printed vellum. These are from party favors I have done for clients in the past using my Sizzix Pro. Each package also contains 5 bonus soccer theme paper.

Small change in dinner plans. Guess it's First Communion weekend and lots of restaurants, including Rico's, are booked at the time we want to go (~6:30). So, we'll go back to Nestico's in North Syracuse. They're happy to have us.
well on 1 hand i'm glad i check and re check.count and re count.packing up today.and counting for 1 last time.guess what---i'm short.somehow i'm short 8 NVRs.crazy!.so i'll be stamping again tonight.
on a happier note my SU order came a day early.not a pre order.but i did get eastern beauty.
Sorry I am going to miss seeing you all. However, I will be having fun at my daughter in law's baby shower. I hope some one will take pictures of the all the swaps and gift swaps too.

** Get your goodie bag ** Get your name tag (alpha by first name)
** LMK if you have a door prize
** Draw a daisy punch from cup to pick your table color
** Pin up your table project onto the appropriate color board (matches your table color)
** Drop one card each into the two boxes set up on the table with display boards (keep the 4th for your table sample)
** Drop your swaps at tables by windows and check off your name. You're leaving just one; hang on to the rest.
** Drop your food item off with Jean; be certain that she knows if you leave something in the fridge
** If you have a GIFT swap (wrapped), leave it on the lefthand small table in the room's alcove. Be sure to get a playing card because that's how we'll draw for those.
