I think most of you have seen that we will be one less on Saturday. Christine (CAL Productions) has had several major surgeries over the past week or so and will be a long time healing. I know she would appreciate some cheery get well cards and Alice has offered to carry them to her.
If you have the time, please bring a card to wish Christine well. Thanks.
Yay me. I just have my recipe swap to do and I am done. Granted, I didn't do all the swaps and glad I didn't because it would have been way to stressful. I am happy I just get to go for a while. Leaving early but hey at least I get to go.

Why can't every day be a crafty day?
I have updated the post on Page 1 #5. There are also some other great tips about kitting your project, etc. so do take a minute to read it.
SCHEDULE REMINDER: Here's what the day looks like in general. Please understand that adjustments will be made as needed.
9:50-10:30 Check in, get your table assignment, leave any door prize donations with me. Drop off food.
Shoeboxes: Pin one of your completed shoebox projects to the board (make sure you pin it to the board designated for your table -- Tip Top Taupe & Watermelon Wonder will switch as will Tables Delightful Dijon & Mint Macaron . Leave a completed shoebox project in each of the two containers near the boards, the last completed one goes with you to your table.
Swaps: Put one each of your swaps out and check your name off the list(s) as you do that.
Gift Swap: Place your wrapped gift swap on back table (participation optional) and be sure to get a playing card for that.
Chat with friends. Head back to your table.
10:30 Intros with your table head; she'll also let you know what to expect in terms of making the projects. Expect to describe your project, especially anything that's not obvious. Remember that some basic written directions should also be there for those who will make your project later.
10:45-12:15 Morning shoebox projects.
If you're hungry at all (morning or afternoon), please feel free to take a break and graze any time.
Please neaten up your spot before you get started with lunch. We don't want any spills on the projects and we also need room to eat lunch. Thanks.
Projects stay behind and people will switch tables after lunch. Please don't try switching before it's time although you certainly may move to have lunch with your friends.
12:15-1:30 Lunch, garage sale and swapping. I will be calling the swaps randomly so please don’t stray too far.
1:30-3:15 Afternoon shoebox projects
3:15-5:00 Door prizes and gift swap. Gift swap will be last so that those not participating can depart early if desired.
5:00 Clean up. So helpful!
6:30 Bull & Bear Roadhouse (East Syracuse) for dinner. You are welcome to stop at my house for the break between. We typically just sit and chat and everyone takes a breather.
It would help me to know how many plan to stay for dinner so please LMK by email, PM or responding here on the thread. Thanks.
Goodie bags will be delivered to you personally at the table where you're stamping in the morning. Your ticket for the afternoon’s door prizes is in the goodie bag, so don’t overlook it. There is also a Stampin' Up! copyright stamp in your goodie bag. I point this out because it would also be easy to overlook. You will also have a chance to purchase 50/50 tickets. Proceeds go towards buying door prizes for next time and of course the winner takes home the other half.
You can see there's a lot going on at check in time so it really helps if you can arrive closer to 10 rather than much earlier. Thanks for understanding.
getting there, still too much to do. The flip flops are cute for my 3x3 but too much time. Monster shape card done for the non vendor, working on the recipe card and then to make the cookies tomorrow night for Saturday.

I have switched to Williams. Bull & Bear won't take a reservation and I don't fancy us standing around waiting. Williams is always willing to accommodate us.
The food was so good as always. It is always good to see everyone again and several newbies too. Great swaps, lots of nice shoebox projects at both tables too. Oh, prizes galore. Thanks, Linda and Jean for all your hard work. Linda I do hope you feel better soon! Everything flowed smooth all day. Can't wait to get together for more stamping soon! Some great ideas, lots of must do and must have sets are on my mind after today.
Another wonderful day of stamping/chatting/eating/swapping and enjoying the company of other crafters!!! Thanks so much for a wonderful day! Hope you are feeling better, Linda.
Thankyou Linda and Jean for a wonderful time yesterday. I know it is a lot of hard work. Enjoyed all the great food and ideas.
Does anyone know how to contact Creative You and Company, I know she came last year to the gathering but didn't see her this year. Thanks

Great day with some wonderful ladies-puts me in the mood to stamp again really soon! Thank you Linda, Jean and all your assistants for a great day, I know it is a lot of work that I truly needed and appreciated!
Thank you for a fun time even though I left early. OMG so excited that I won all the shoe boxes and the container. Bo knows me so well!! Thanks to the girls at my table the second half of the day for being so patient and understanding that I had to hurry. I appreciate it. It was hard for me to do that since I am not a budger by nature. I am happy to say I got my son's hair cut done just in time for him to get ready. He looked so handsome of course.
