Janneke said she was interested in coming to the shoebox swap. I was thinking she'll contribute my project, then she can stamp some projects, and I can stamp other projects. Then ppl won't have to make a sample to give to the host and we'll both get to stamp. I'll have to go in and update the directions to reflect this.

Yes. Millbrook is very easy from the Taconic. It's a more relaxing drive too, IMO.

I think I am confusing the swaps and projects. Or I was but now I get it.
Swaps are straight swaps with other card makers and projects are projects made for each person to assemble/recreate using the pre-cut supplies,(sample completed project, paper, embellies, stamps, inks and etc) needed to recreate the project plus one more created project for the hostess. Am I right?

From the Taconic, you'll get off at the RT 44 Exit (Pleasant Valley/Millbrook)
You'll take a left to get take Rt44 towards Millbrook.

You'll go about 1.7miles on Rt44, and the Cornell Cooperative Extension
building will be on your left.

If you see a the left turn for Rt-44A, you've missed it.

Hand sanitizer:


2/3 cup Isopropyl alcohol 91% (rubbing alcohol)
1/3 cup aloe vera gel
Essential oil of fragrance 8-10 drops (optional)
Mix pour into container
Gives you 65% Alcohol

If you add some Vit E and tea tree oil fragrance, it will preserve it longer.

Hi All, Yesterday the Dutchess County Executive has recommended the suspension of large social gatherings at this time. Although we have a smaller group, we are on the older side, and more importantly, know and interact with older family members and neighbors. In order to keep everyone as safe as we can, I'm going to postpone our event at this time. I'll work with Irene to come up with a future date. I'd like to see how things change in the next week or two before committing to another date.
