:-D Ladies I am headed out to Houston.....Stopping by the hair salon first to get my hair done (so I can look decent for all of you hahahaha). My question is do any of you know of some really good lss or neat places to visit? The family member that I am staying with lives off of hwy 6 and W Little York. Please let me know if you can think of anything!! Thanks! I can't wait!
LaDonna - safe trip! Well, you're probably half way to Archiver's at I-10 and Fry Road. Take 6 down to I-10 and then just a few exits to Fry Road. Take a right on Fry and it's in that first shopping center on the right. There's a stop light. Go into that drive and Archiver's is right on the corner of the strip on the left side. Also, down one more exit on South Mason is MariDawn's Scrapbooking store. It's on the left side of the street and you enter the shopping center where there is a bank right on the street. Sorry I can't remember exacting, but it's up a couple traffic lights off I-10!

I am just realizing that I did this to you last year too..... But the project I preped for is 3D not a full card. AGHHHH!!!! When am I going to ever learn? Of course I didn't read the guidelines until I came here to print the directions for tomorrow.... I hope that's okay and people won't kill me. So sorry but I look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
Also, if it keeps raining, I may have to leave early. I will be happy to leave my stuff there though.

knowing that i'm JUST NOW putting my stuff together - nothing like procrastination.
is everyone packaging their cards in individual envelopes or baggies or are you just bringing stacks of pieces????
and are you printing out individual directions or just one or two copies???
I have found it to be easier to make baggies for everyone. That way I know everyone has what they need. Whatever works best for you, though!
Also, I usually print one set of directions. This time I just listed some tips on a label for each bag. Either way works great, but some cards need to be finished later at home.
Get some rest though so you have lots of energy to stamp stamp stamp! ;)

The excitement is mounting. I've been up since 4:45 AM pumped up!!! Can't wait to see everyone and hope we beat the rain there.

Wow! I had a great time. I think I ended up making 41 cards. Hats off to the ladies that organized this event. It was a lot of work and your efforts were certainly appreciated.
The cards were phenomenal. Since it is still pouring rain, I've left them in my car for now (so I can't scan them in.) I do have my Stampin' Up catalog out -making a new wish list. I must have True Friend - the cards we made using this set were fabulous.
I enjoyed meeting everyone and I hope to participate in this again.

It was a great time. Had some rough weather to drive through getting back home, but got here safe and sound. There were great cards. Me, I'm going to have to have artfully asian now because of the great cards we made with that set. May have to have Dad's day too because that one I've totally overlooked in the cattie!! Thanks ladies for all the fabulous cards and great fun! So, who ended up with that great memory purse for their door prize? That was interesting.

Yes, a BIG thank you to Maggie for all the organizing! You put together another successful event! Laura, I could not have done it without you! Everything flowed so well, and it was wonderful to see all having a good time! Thanks to all the ladies who helped along the way, I do believe we cleaned up in record time!
