HelloI just replied to an older thread from a stamper who was interesting in going on a Cardmaking Cruise.
I wanted to let people know about a fun Alaskan cruise that sails round trip from Vancouver Canada on August 17, 2014.
There is a cardmaking group on this cruise called Sailing with Scissors.
The website is
Sailing with Scissors...A Cardmaker's Cruise
There are free make n' takes, daily card technique newsletters, treasure hunt, wood mount game, card swap, goody bags, and prizes for everyone.
All we bring is our adhesives and scissors.
Each person in the group has to buy a minimum of two classes ($35 each) to join in all the free events.
So, for $70 above your cruise costs, you can join this fun group. The $70 covers the costs of the goody bags, make n' take materials and some of the prizes (the other prizes are donated).
In other scrapbook cruises, you pay quite a lot extra in order to pay the cruise fare of the famous cardmaker.
This isn't a money making business thing. It 's just a bunch of cardmakers having fun.
Thanks
C
