A Big Thank You To.....

........Schrades & Kookie for putting together such a fun event in the Wisconsin Northwoods. It was really great to see so many familiar faces and to meet a few new ones. The shoebox cards, individual exchanges and the lottery items were all very well done. You guys did a wonderful job for our second annual Northwoods Shoebox gathering, but it was just too short. Now don't forget to mark you calendars for May in Milwaukee.

Also, there is roomer that there is plans for a gathering in St Cloud, MN. Don't forget to let us know, we just may join you.

Again, Thanks Kookie and Schrades - you guys Rock !!

I would also like to say a special HI to Pat Trinkeltritz !! We enjoyed meeting you !

I almost forgot - I wanted to say thank you to my travel partners. I have really lucked out on my stamping excursions because I always have such wonderful people to go with. Donna, you are the best - I would travel anywhere with you. Shari, welcome to the fold - your initiation into our travel excursions went great and you are welcome to join us any time.

I agree, it ended to fast! I enjoyed seeing the old and new faces. EVERYONE had such AWESOME swaps and the lottery was unbelievable!

I had a MIL problem (88 yrs old) that had to be addressed and I couldn't make it even though I had already sent my $$ and reserved a hotel room. Put me on your list for anything in the Madison area.

I was so disappointed that I couldn't make it and now I am really depressed because you all had such a good time. But I'm gonna make it up to myself a little, I ordered $150 worth of stamps for myself - I didn't get charged for the motel room, so I have the money to spend on me. That may help a little, but I am going to be watching for another gathering either Northwoods III or Mad City Madness (or whatever you are going to call it).

Hi Beverly - I had to have a good time at this one. I saw those pictures of you and your daughter at the Texas retreat. It looks like you had a blast there. Mark your calendar for next year and I'll make sure that you and your daughter get a flight pass !!

Lana - oh you were so missed. I hope that doesn't happen again. And I hope that whatever kept you away is somthing that was easy to deal with - like a wedding or something.

Hey Linny - it was great getting to know you too. Next time maybe Trinkltritz would like to join us for the ride and then we can swing by to pick you up. Just love that van when I can pretend I drive a bus !!

And I just want to apologize to everyone for such a late response. I came home on Sunday to a crashed computer. I was on the phone on Monday for 1.5 hours and again yesterday for 3 hours to discover that I have a mother board problem and Dell has to come and replace it. So...........I'm sneaking all this in at work. I had to catch up on my personal e-mails, they were getting close to the triple digits (that includes all that spam garbage) !

As far as the Milwaukee May gathering - I'm looking at the 13th or 20th or 27th of May. It all depends on what I can get as far as a hall and if Comfort Suites will give me the whole hall (more space) for the same amount of money then we can return there. We like that kareokee bar !! and the rooms were decent. Only this time I'm going to ask for a block of rooms together. I will be sending out invites to all past attendees and then I will post the event to fill any empty spaces.

By the way Ms. Trinkltritz - the real Ms. Tritz would like to join us next time !! Find another person's gift to regift for the next event - okay !! LOL !!

There is a stamp convention here in Milwaukee on the 29th and 30th. If anyone is going, let me know - maybe we can meet up for lunch or something.
