just found out about this!! YIPPEE!! I want to come...hopefully I can make it this time. I will just keep watching and see what date gets picked. My ds is starting college/Akron U and moves in on 8/25. His 19th b'day is 10/03. I know there will be a homecoming dance sometime in Oct. but not sure just when yet.....keep me posted!!!!! (I want to come!!!)

Hey Debbie! How are you?? Still driving the bookmobile?? I am going to my upline's tomorrow night for a class....she lives in Chippewa Lake. When I go to her house on Tuesday nights I usually see the bookmobile in the Stop and Go parking lot! Is that you on those nights?? If so, sometime I will have to leave early and stop by and see you!!!
I hope I can make it to this swap this time too!! Have a great evening all!

Hi Mary Jo, no that is not usually me. I have done Tuesday nights. But Monday nites are my usual one now but subject to change at any time!!!
Yeah! I had so much fun at the last one, and I can't wait to do it again! We are in the process of moving, so the end of Sept beginning of October is perfect for me. Hopefully we will be settled by then:rolleyes:

I just found this thread Tammy. Before I commit ~ I've got to wait and see what date is chosen. We have plans for Oct 13 & 14th -- so if that is the date I definately won't be able to participate. But I may be able to slip away for an hour or so and just stop in to say "hello" and meet other SCS gals.
I'll be watching this thread to see what develops.
Sorry everyone... I meant to do this yesterday but my allergies have really got me down the last week or so. I'm sorry for those who have other commitments, but I had already been thinking for about 2 weeks now that October 14th was going to end up being the date for this swap. I'll be reserving the space at my church for that day. I'd like to start by 2:00 p.m. I'll update the original post as soon as I can. Thanks! Now, go tell all your friends!!
YIPPEE!! SO FAR October 14th is good for me....I will have to see if there is anything that comes up at Akron U....that is where my DS is going to go! We move him into his dorm this Friday afternoon. :( Medina's Homecoming Dance is Oct. 21st!! I am sooo excited...hope this works out this time!

A list has been started on the first post of who's attending! When it gets closer, we can also start a food list, so there aren't a lot of duplicates. Does anyone think we should also have a list of what each person is planning for their project, or let it be a surprise? The theory to that would be so that we don't have 10 people making candles, or coaster, or something. But honestly, I probably will still be trying to decide the week before and I personally don't care if there are duplicates because nothing will end up being exactly the same. Anyway, if you're definetely coming, speak up and I'll add you to the attendance list!
