I just found this thread and see that the registration for the mini-mingle is CLOSED! I'm very new to this site and am just starting to find my way around. How can I get on your mailing list to get announcements of future gatherings? You sound like a fun group who just might appreciate my unique sense of humor (wink, wink)!
I'll put your user name on my list of MI stampers. There is a link in my signature for the BIG mingle in March and registration is still open for that. Also check out the MI chatters thread here...
I'm going to bring a big bag o' M&Ms, plain. I can't stamp without my M&Ms. Easy peasy. Maybe I'll bring some pretzels too. I like to mix my M&Ms with something salty.
Well, besides helping my friend campaign for school board, going to doc appts, and helping DS with homework, my time is more open. (Not working at the moment) For the mingle, I'm just doing a name tag and deciding what to bring... and packing it all up successfully . I'm not into swaps because I have a hard time making the same card over and over. And making 3D items for other stampers makes me VERY nervous, so I'll sit out on the door prize... unless I wake up one morning and have a sudden inspiration. LOL
Anyway... Yes, I'm making time to bring food. ;)
Sorry for rambling on....

Would those in the organized 3-D swap please post their favorite SU colors and or DSP (new or retired). As soon as possible pretty please! Thank you!!
Jen
Interesting question ;) For me I love the new Urban Garden and Green Tea DS papers, as for my fave color combo that's a little harder! I don't know that I really have one but I do like Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, and Mellow Moss, I also fall back on Blush Blossom, Choco Chip, Certainly Celery, and Groovy Guava.
That give you enough choices? Now spill, whatya up to

I do not use a great deal of SU papers, but those I have used are wonderful. So Jen you get to pick for me, because to be truthful I have no idea. Sorry!

I'd spill but I want you to be surprised You only have to wait 2 more weeks...teehee.
I've got most of my unorganized card swap done! I made myself sit down today and get them started. Now all I have to do is stamp one more thing multiple times, cut them out and attach one to each card.
I also have my door prize done. So, all I have left to figure out is my name tag and a snack! The name tag has me stumped though. Whew!!
Well, I have my organized card swap completed and the door prize. I am working on my name tag now. I want to do some more cards to swap with everyone---that will be next. The snack--will probably be the next thing. I never know what to bring--- anyone have any suggestions?

Ugh, I am doing an Arts and Craft Fair this Saturday so I have nothing ready for the 11th. But if nothing sells at the fair I will have tons of 3-D items, hmmmmmmm! Oh and Miss Boo is replacing Mrs' Fields in the kitchen so I might have my snack ready, whewww !
The draft house is pretty great, actually. . .the burgers are yummy.
If it was warmer, I would say let's go to Nip and Sip! But they are only open during the summer months. . .they have boston coolers, and old fashioned drive up food. They actually hang it from your window and everything! It is really fun.
Do you want to go to Lunch together? Or dinner? I was thinking for the other meal we could always order in pizza or something. . .maybe with all the snacks, one meal would be enough!
Btw, I am starting to see where event planning experience would come in handy for planning something of this nature I guess I am learning by experience!
