I agree with the answer you gave regarding stamping blocks...realize that no so very many are necessary. However, I recently made a discovery when having several friends over to introduce them to card making. With several of us working at once, we found that the square acrylic case that holds a punch works great as a stamping block. We were able to position stamps on both the bottom and the top of a clear case that held an old Creative Memories corner rounder, and the images were nice and clear!

I had a large stamp but no block. A friend suggested using an extra plate for my Cuttlebug that I had - perfect and you can use any size stamp on it.

Great ideas! I had never thought of using something other than the blocks themselves.
