I have tried my stamp positioner etc and I still get a crooked line. What is the trick to gettting "flimsy" clear stamps to line up straight. So frustrated

Do you have Creative Corners or just a very thin plastic or metal ruler? Put that at a 90 degree angle to the side of your MISTI, and then scooch the stamp down until the bottom of the letters are all touching the ruler. Or, if there are letters like Y etc. that interfere with that, what I do is draw a line across my cardstock, set the sentiment up on my MISTI, put the transparency grid in the corner of the MISTI, stamp the sentiment in black on the transparency - and then tilt my card underneath the transparency until the sentiment is straight on the pencil line. Remove the transparency and stamp!

Thank Lydia. Let me give it a try. This is an actual stripe which happens to be 7 1/2 inches. I think I am this close to cutting it down by 2 inches.

I usually turn stamps I need straight face down, line them up on my grid pad, then put the block on the stamp rather than the stamp on the block. Keeps me from pulling it out of alignment if I put the block on the stamp.

Oh, don't cut it down! You might want diagonal stripes!
