There's a rubber stamp/scrapbooking store in Beaufort, SC called Carolina Stamper. It's maybe a 45 minute drive away I think. I visited there when vacationing in Hilton head and LOVED the store. Plus, the store is located in the historic section of the town so you could easily do sightseeing too! I know there is a stamping store in Savanah too, but it's on the other side of the city.. quite a way from the river walk. I didn't get to visit it when I was there because it was on the other side of town.
Enjoy Savanah!!! I'm so jealous that you're going... it's my most favorite city in the US to visit!
The Savannah Scrapbooking store is at White Bluff and Montgomery Crossing, behind the K-Mart store. This is on the south end of town, out near the Oglethorpe Mall. It will be closing March 31st, so things are on sale. There will be another one opening in either April or May which will be at Montgomery Crossing and Waters. I don't know the name, but Jamie at Savannah Scrapbooking mentioned it when I was there last month. Hope this helps.
There is an A.C. Moore on Albercorne out by the mall.
It's actually located inside Savannah Mall, and the street name is "Abercorn", which is the main north-south street in Savannah. If I remember correctly, it's on the second level near the Target.

I don't remember the name, but there is a very cool art supply store downtown as well. I make it a point to stop by when I'm there. The Sav College of Art ad Design is close by, so if memory serves it might have SCAD in the store name...

That would probably be Primary Art Supply on Broughton Street. I often shopped there for project materials when I was studying interior design at SCAD! There's also the school's bookstore, called Ex Libris (on MLK Jr. Blvd, between Oglethorpe and Liberty and directly across from the School of Building Arts and the Visitor's Center), but honestly the prices are a bit better at Primary.

I am reviving this thread because DH and I are going to Savannah for my bday in Feb and I was wondering if wallmount ever found a good store there. I have ACMoores in my area and like to see Locally owned shops when I travel. Anyone else have anything. I googled and got the two previously mentioned and surprise this thread!
No, I never found any while I was there. The one that I tried o call I later found out has since closed. Sorry
Part of why I signed up to be a demo was the lack of scrapbooking stores in Savannah. Most of the smaller places there sell fine art supplies and cater to SCAD students and local artisans. You still might find some unique papers and writing tools, though, because bookmaking and papermaking are some of the course offerings at SCAD.

Well this certainly is a downer! I've just moved to Beaufort, SC after losing my job in Michigan..............we had wonderful stores in my area - Archiver's , Shabby Chic, The Scrapbook Zone, just to name a few. I am a demo, so no problem with SU, but I guess I am going to become an even bigger net shopper....when I have some $ again
