If, when you save a card to your favorites, you could leave yourself a comment; like neat way to use a button, this sketch would be good for my XYZ stamp, etc.
I've thought that, too. That way you could search in your favorites for a color combination you liked or stampset or layout, depending on the comment you made.
I thought the same thing (and suggested it in the site suggestions thread). Until that is possible I did do a workaround...I downloaded my favorites as a zip file (the little icon next to "my favorites" on that page), then made multiple albums in google picasa (SU cards, PTI cards, Sketch ideas, Christmas card, etc). The bonus with using picasa is (a) you can put the card in more than one album (b) you can also tag the card as you mentioned (c) you always have a copy of the card, even if it is removed for publication or deleted or you are no longer a fan club member and (d) picasa is awesome. Now I'm trying to get in the habit of "saving image as" for each new card I favorite, and trying to work through the 400+ cards I have favorited!

This sounds like a great idea. I am going to have to see if I can figure out how to do this. I have Picasa...

I wish we could set up albums in our favorites gallery like we can in our personal gallery. We could give the albums titles as to why we faved them...technique, colors, embellishment, sketch, teacher gifts, , holidays, etc. I did post it in the comments and suggestions section. Some people commented that they liked the idea but I never heard anything from anyone connected to the site. I suggested it in that questionnaire that we filled out a while ago as well. I was really hoping others would also suggest it and that it would come to fruition after that. Alas, it didn't. After purging many cards from my Faves in order to try and make them more manageable, I still have 10 pages (on the 48 per page setting) and can never find exactly what I am looking for. I still hold out hope that it will happen in the future though.

This is a great idea, agree with RaeBob Cat. That would make organizing much easier.

The best thing about google picassa is that you can add text to the photo, things like "note the layout" or "good idea for embellishments" etc. I upload all my own cards to picassa with details of who they were for and if they were good sellers etc.
