What will replace it????

I am quite new to SU - I haven't even had my first workshop yet!!! and I have a question regarding the retired list. Every time I read about the retiring stamps, I hear (and agree with) retiring Little Shapes is a bad idea....However, some of the posts say that it's okay because the Simple Shapes will be just fine in its place. I cannot find Simple Shapes ANYWHERE...am I looking in the wrong place? Where can I find this set?
Any direction anyone wants to give me would be wonderful!

Thanks.

Simple Shapes isn't in the current catalog but in the new catalog. We got it at regional seminar. Hope this helps! :)

Hello, sscrappystamper!

You've come to the right place! Go into the gallery, and then to Simple Shapes. There are several samples posted there already. It is definitely one of my favorites, and I reach for it every chance I get! I've had Little Shapes for a while, and it still looks brand new!

Here's basically what it has. The measurements may be a tad off, but . . .

Squares are 1 5/16" x 1 5/16" (Outline & Solid)
Solid rectangle is 2 1/2" x 3/4"
Outline rectangle is 1 13/16" x 3/4"
Small circles are just over 1/2" in diameter (Outline & Solid)
Large circles are 1 5/16" in diameter (Outline & Solid)
Three solid circles, solid squares - just about 1/2" long, about 1/8" tall

I think you'll LOVE it!
Jenn

I was not able to attend a Regional, and wish now I had, just to get THAT set! I'm dyin' for it and can hardly wait for the new catty so I can get it--it is actually the FIRST set at the top of my list because I used Little Shapes soooooooooo much!

I'm wondering what they'll replace Shape of Things with (don't own it as I couldn't convince myself I'd ever use the large triangle for anything) . . .

I'm hopeful something similar, but without the darn triangle, to replace Shape of Things and maybe then I'll buy it! : ) . . .keeping my fingers crossed!
