I have dealt with Dies by Dave and he is very good at getting back to people with regards to his product. He might be having a break right now since it is a holiday in the US.
I haven't heard back from Dave yet. How long does it take for a response??
I would suggest you send another message. With the big switchover yesterday to the new webstore and all the new dies he added, your message might have gotten lost in the shuffle.
I do hope you are able to get in and order the items you want!
I don't think his link is working right now as I tried to get in to take a look at the blossom dies and the screen is blank. That, or it is my computer. Glad I got in yesterday to order at least.
Also thanks Susy for commiserating with me about the guilt of buying! And telling of your experiences with the dies. I liked hearing that they cut closer to the stamped image. I am looking forward to getting them, whenever they arrive, lol........

Do you have a spam folder? Maybe your eMail provider is treating his emails like junk?

very bummed - been checking the old site all weekend, but didn't get come to the discussion forum until today... I got a response, but the password didn't take me into the site...even more bummed now

Try another computer if possible. I couldn't get in with my computer tried a different computer and got right in.
Tried another computer and it worked. Thanks. Very sad almost everything I wanted to get is sold out. Hopefully he will have more in the somewhat near future. How did anyone figure out he had a different website? I never would have known if not for checking this thread...

I could not get into his site with my original pass code. I contacted Dave and he said he had to change the pass code as someone posted his pass code on a public forum.
So if you original pass code does not work, you need to get a new one.
I have no idea as to why Dave needs a pass code, I do not feel it is my business to question his business.
Please just be respectful of his wishes and do not post/share his pass code as I am sure we all would love to keep ordering from him.

My guess for the reason for a unique password for each person logging on to his site is that it provides an extra layer of security. It would keep spammers out, and any time that the password was used more than once it would likely kick out the 2nd user and lock up the password so it couldn't be used again.
I could be wrong on the mechanics of it, but in a reply I received from Dave he indicated that the new store site had a better level of security for the shopper.
It's disturbing that some people who wanted to buy couldn't because they were locked out by the password issue. Maybe he will find a way to make up for the technical glitch by doing another release of the sold out dies in the very near future. Hope so, for the sake of those that were ready, willing and able to buy but for the password.
He is setting up a new site...he hasn't got it ready..just keep checking..

I have got through and ordered already. I have posted other info regarding Dave's site two posts above. Also I have posted the correct email address, two posts up.

Well I wouldn't mind looking at the dies he has but I refuse to give my info to a site just to look. I hate when a site requires you to create an account to shop. I understand when buying I have to give it but just to look is insane. Since I really love dies and would probably buy several from him I can keep in mind the money I'm saving.

All I had to do was put the pass code in that Dave supplied me and I got in. I did not have to put additional info in to look at the dies.

I emailed him last night to get a new password at [email protected]. I have not heard anything yet. I tried the password he gave me when I ordered on Nov. 26, but that one does not work any longer. Now I am going to send him an email with a difffernt addy that leaves the "pins" out to see if I get a response.
