You may be in luck, Julie! Lizzie Anne Designs has licensed out their images to Gourmet Rubber Stamps.

Ditto on the PSX stamps. Such a loss. And the prices on E-bay are crazy! The same "K" size stamp will be shown from $9.95 to $89.95. I kid you not!

I'm w/ the majority: I really miss PSX. They had some awesome images. There was a local (to me) company that changed hands a couple of times before they disappeared: Anita's (then Sugarloaf, then Inque Boutique). They had some really nice, affordable images and since they were local, I have a ton of them.

Also, CHF. I planned on buying a bunch just wasn't able before they closed. :(

There was a family-owned company called Endless Designs that had beautiful open line floral designs and gorgeous watercolor samples in their convention booth... it makes me sad that they're gone. Creative Impressions was another company I discovered at a stamp convention that disappeared for a while, but I found out that their designs are being slowly reintroduced by another company: Talkabout Images (Powered by CubeCart)

I miss the Anna Griffin stamps, stencils and punches. I loved her botanicals and printers ornaments, as well as her backgrounds.

I also miss PSX and all of the beautiful products they made. I still have their catalogues.

I miss the old Hot Off the Press stuff too, they had a bunch of books I wanted to buy but never got. The last time I was on their website, I saw they were bringing a few things back, but not everything I wanted. I loved the displays they had in the stores with all of those goodies.

I LOVE Anna Griffin stamps, and her new stamps that she sells at HSN are gorgeous! They're higher quality than her older clear stamps. You can see them at hsn.com

I agree with missing the old DOTS stamps. Back before they were CTMH and changed their style/name.

I didn't know she was doing stamps again. I'll check them out! Most of the stamps I have of hers are the rubber ones, but I have a few of the clear ones as well. Thanks for telling me!

I just got an email from Gourmet Rubber and it looks like they are doing something similar to Lizzie Anne's stamp club. AND they are giving 25% off. The promo code is OCT25. I'm so excited to see Lizzie Anne Designs back in rubber.

The majority of people miss the PSX stamps and have lost interest in the ones that look like a 5 year old drew them. I got into this too late to have any PSX stamps

If so many people want these designs why doesn't a company research the PSX stamps and bring out a line similar to those?

I don't understand the logic of continuing to produce stamps that few people want to buy and ignoring the designs that people are begging for.

I also appears the retired SU stamps that command the most money in the used stamp market are the beautiful ones, yet they produce dozens of the stamp images that look like a child drew them.

So interesting that so many people miss PSX. I vaguely remember them from when I first started stamping, but they were gone shortly thereafter. If they were so popular (and it's clear they were), I'm curious as to why they went out of business?

Now that the Lizzie Anne girls are back via Gourmet Rubber Stamps (YAY!!!) and sweet Kim Hughes has Paper Smooches, the images I miss most are some of my favorites from CHF (*waving 'hi' to Julia!*) -- Backgrounders, Stampblocks, the Rummage Bin, Mona Lisa Moments & Elvis -- and Elzybells. Oh, how I loved those sweet Elzybells!

I miss Elzybells (I'm lucky I was on the DT for a long time so I have a healthy stash) but I miss seeing all of the new releases and looking at the blog for inspiration. They were so cute.

I also miss Amuse.. I would buy a lot of their Christmas stamps every year and being that I'm Canadian I have no access to them anymore.. I can't wait to pull them out (I'll do that TONIGHT!) and make some cute little Christmas cards with them.

I, too, am really curious about why PSX went out of business. When I first started stamping, they were EVERYWHERE...every stamp shop, every chain craft store. Does anyone know what happened?

Oh, I agree! I loved the Elzybells images and there are so many I still want. I have a few of the small A Muse size and a lot of the unmounted larger stamps. I was so sad to see them go. Speaking of, I need to use the Halloween ones now that it's October!

Yup. They were purchased by Duncan. You know, the craft paint people? They decided shortly thereafter, that they would not be producing any PSX based papercrafting items. Crazy, I know. No stamps or paper or stickers. So why did they buy them? My best guess, for the images. For what? Still guessing.

Sad that. PSX was a great local company (for me), out of Petaluma, California, that employed a lot of great people and artists.

I wondered why PSX went out of business too. Duncan sure made a lot of people unhappy when they bought out PSX and discontinued the products. :-(

I just cut and pasted this website address that gives a history of rubber stamp companies. It includes a HUGE list of companies that have, sadly, gone out of business. It also states that stamps from alot of these companies are considered collectibles. We know that for sure about PSX. The list includes Daisy Kingdom and I have a good supply of those lovely little creatures too. I had read somewhere that a divorce between Marina Golden and her husband resulted in the selling of the company. I saw a picture of her on the web and do you think I can find it again!!!!? Don't know if this will get anyone to the site, but I'll put it in my favorites and try again later.

PSX was sold to Duncan because the husband/wife who owned the company divorced. The wife tried for a while to run it on her own, but could not use a lot of the images because of property and divorce.

CHF will have their Grand Opening this Saturday, so you'll have a chance to buy some of those stamps that you've been missing. They will have real rubber backgrounds in the store sometime soon, and they are pursuing the rights for the Thomas Kinkade stamps (possibly Elvis and SEP as well). I believe they said they would have some of the Rummage Bin sets (such as Julia's awesome stamps) available as real rubber sometime soon.

I'm looking forward to the big party this Saturday! Can you tell?? :-)

Darcies stamps. But they were super expensive. I think they would still be in business if they hadn't charged so much. Wish I would have had more money to buy more of them. LOL

I'm searching for a catalogue for Stamp Out Cute rubber stamps, now out of business. I purchased several unmounted over the years, but did not keep good records of the sources. I'd like to be able to give credit when work gets published...

Was there another Darcie's stamps besides this one?:

Welcome to Darcie's

This Darcie's is alive and well! I'm looking to order some of the acrylic shadowbox frames - I saw them at a show and they were gorgeous!
