I am seeing a lot of geometric BG stamps and stencils.
The usual new flowers.
Gnomes are still coming out to play.
New Anita Jeram-the hot popular designer...but also Stacey Yackula and Birdie Brown-both perennial favorites.
Some new ink colors at MFT.
What are you hoping for?
How popular are kits now? Still hot or not?
What about hot foiling and glimmer systems?

Definitely there are a lot of products geared toward slimline cards. There are lots of stencils, stamps and dies in those sizes. I guess that trend is staying around for awhile. I think dies are becoming more popular in general, too.
Since we are in spring in the US, loads and loads of flowers.
And fish.
My few purchases have been geared towards restocking consumables and finally getting some items on wish lists (like word and cover plate dies when I find them on sale.)
More layering stencils and dies. I'm not looking for 'new/hot'. I know what I like and only look at what I know I will use. Slimline is really being pushed, but I'm not looking to start a whole new collection of stuff.
I love the whole new April release at Colorado Craft Company. Anita's stamps are just the best and I love them all!! Lots of layering stencils I think are new and I like them because they don't add a lot of bulk to your card. I stay away from things that make my card too lumpy or bumpy. The mail is slow already without all the added stuff to our cards.
Peeking in when I was searching for something tonight.
Trends I am excited about is the jungle safari. I really love all the safari animals in different colors and I really love the big cats theme of house cat lifestyles- setting on living room furniture, etc....
Things I think are super cute but probably won't get into are the slimline card theme. I also love all the cute unique dies to make shaker cards.
I have been seeing a lot of patriotic themes.
Just because we see it does not mean we have to buy it. Usually. LOL
What are you hoping/looking for Harvestmoon?
MOSTLY INSPIRATION !! I used to do tons of cards for Operation Write Home, and when that ended it was a punch in the gut for me. I've seen other project options on SCS, but I'm not inspired. I'm REALLY looking to retire this year (at 74) and get knee replacement surgery, so I'm on a slow track right now.
"I'm Full" is my response to shopping.

Where is that darn LIKE button? Like, Like, Like.
I was bummed to return and find that SCS no longer does annual breast cancer card drive. It was just right for me. The series of various challenges in a short period of time (nothing ongoing that I had to commit to) and someone already lined up to receive my cards. It was perfect for me.
There are other places to donate but I'm like you, there isn't a place that is calling to me. I need that, otherwise I don't have the mojo to step in and make something. I suppose I could just make cards and then gather them up and send to whatever request comes along but it's not the same for me. Like you, I NEED INSPIRATION!
I can't say that I'm full of shopping but I am pickier these days. I used to buy whatever was cheap and affordable -- mostly boring brick & mortar stuff. Now that I'm full of! These days, I have a little more spending money so I have given myself permission for the occasional splurge. But first, I have to ask myself if something is my style, if I will use it multiple times, if the asking price is anywhere close to reasonable. If not, I generally give it a pass.
Edited to add:
I did splurge this month on something that is new to me. I ordered a Pinkfresh Studio stamp, die, washi set. I rarely buy matching dies or stickers but I love my set so much that I think I'll get this bouquet set next. ..... For some reason, the link is not showing up. Let's see if adding it in two separate sentences will help. Just copy, paste and remove the space after "tube": https://www.youtube .com/watch?v=nTVYIAiYC8k

I am loving the floral stamp and stencil sets because they help this critter-loving gal with her frear of florals - ha! I am not jumping into the foiling craze, nor am I ready for a gell plate, but I do love the 3-D embossing folders (not expensive and so versatile with striking results).
Not going to foil or slimline or gell plate. Just want to stamp and color and enjoy what I have. Love Anita Jeram's designs and want to see more interesting stamps. Want some large stamps to cover the front with both words and / or flowers. I am getting bored with some of the stamp companies that I used to think really hit it right. Not wanting to double or triple stamp things. Simple is the way to go for me and trying not to buy.

Glad I checked this thread, when I looked at the Inkling this week. I was thinking, “Nothing.” But that is obviously not the case. “Nothing in the big box stores,” is more accurate. Michael’s and Joann’s have slashed the real estate for stamping supplies. And the last time I was at either store, they were completely overhauling. It was really unclear what there would be available, much less how the store would be organized. Wow.
Thanks for letting the rest of us know, that the situation is not so bleak. The party has just moved online, nearly entirely.
Thanks Charlene78, for the tip on the Canadian company! I'm always looking for Canadian sites. Awesome selection from the US, but the triple whammy of exchange rate, shipping and duty is a killer!
I can't find connections for the military. I tried the USO at the Philadelphia Airport but they weren't interested, so I created my own connections. I donate holiday (Christmas, Valentine's, 4th of July, Thanksgiving plus birthday, thinking of you, hello, etc) to my county Meals on Wheels Program. They have around 150 clients who really appreciate the cards. The staff writes a personal note. I make up card kits that the staff puts together for a team building event.
I also just started donating to our local Veterans Home in Vineland, NJ and an assisted living home in Millville, NJ. (The assisted living facility uses the cards as prizes for bingo. The Veterans Home puts the cards in their free "shop" where the veterans can pick out to send to friends and family. Am going to try the Veteran's Hospital in Philly.
I’ve almost always made A2 sized cards and slimline cards didn’t do much for me until I got a peek at some of the mini slimline options, and I love them! They are so much fun for me to work with.
I really enjoy gnomes and like to collect and “pet” them (as Amy Rysavy says) as well as use them. I’m happy to see them continue.

For any of you following this thread who want to do cards like you did for Operation Write Home, there is another nonprofit organization called Cards For Soldiers ( https://greetingcardsforsoldiers.blogspot.com/ ) that is very similar. The link is to the blog; she also has a facebook page. There are a few differences - Cards For Soldiers needs envelopes with the cards is a big one, off the top of my head. But it's very similar to what you were doing for OWH.

Thank you Cheryl!!! I bookmarked this for future reference.

I love both the "prizes for Bingo" at the assisted living facility and the "free shop" at the Veterans Home! And donating to Meals on Wheels is awesome too!
Good for you in figuring out where you can share your cards!
