I'm on a punch kick...I recently bought the wrought iron and slit punch. I saw a card with the wrought iron punch that just made me have to have it but I didn't mark it as a favorite...I thought, "Oh, I'll remember what to do. " Famous last words... ARGH!! 3 hours later of looking through the gallery, I gave up... So, if anyone reads this and saw a card with a tag of sorts, using the wrought iron punch...send me an email! In the meantime, I'm trying to be creative.
This site MADE me (willingly) buy In Full Bloom and Lovely as a Tree. Neither caught my eye in the catty until I saw the gorgeous samples in the gallery. I also bought the wire mesh cubes from Target for my paper storage. If I had more funds this list would be longer. As it is, my wish list is almost never-ending.
My latest had been the stamp sets Sincere Salutations & Summer By the Sea. Both bought because of the samples in the gallery (bonus with them being half off too!)

As much as I love cats, I probably wouldn't have ordered Cool Cat if not for all the ideas seen in the gallery. Same with Something to Celebrate. It wasn't even on my wish list until I saw some of the gallery cards. Since seeing all of the cool creations with the canvas bg I've been wishing I'd bought that last month, and now I find myself hoping that Art of Life makes it into the new catty as a regular item since the few parties I've had have never even come close to $400. I'm sure my wish list will grow longer the more I hang around the gallery.

Summer by the Sea, Michael's $1 stamps, drywall mesh tape, Hero Arts Ribbons & Stitches, Prismacolor pencils. Things I will buy on my next order--Paisley BG stamp, Roses in Winter, Chalk pads--it's a good thing DH doesn't know how bad this site is for me (bad for him/good for me)!
Well, I had a LONG talk with myself about all the sets I have. I then convinced myself not to order ANYTHING until the retirement list comes out. I knew waiting for the new catalog would be too hard...well...i tried, I really did...I fought the urge...walked away from my computer...talked to myself again...tried to put in the workshop order with out adding anything...broke out in a sweat...started shaking...walked away....ran back and ordered 'Paisley'...now who is responsible for all those great samples...LOL!!!!
Lisalisa is.

Well ladies, I just returned from the nearest civilization (45 min. drive from our small SMALL town) with a brand new Epson photo printer. :P
And it is ALL SCS's fault!!!
I saw some wicked cool 12x12 digital scrapbook pages in the gallery last night and decided I HAD to have a printer to do them, so went out this afternoon and bought it. If I had the name of the artist who posted them, I would send her a bill for the printer!
$300 later I am chomping at the bit on getting everything done around the house so I can hook it up and play with it!
LOTS of cardstock (I thought the color matching think wasn't a big deal until I saw so many great examples on the gallery)
glossy paper
and Love Without End
This site convinced me that I really needed the Stamp-a-ma-jig. I also decided, based on samples I've seen here, that I needed Cool Cat and Paint Prints. Neither of those sets jumped out and grabbed me until I saw the samples here. I usually don't use florals much but there's something about that Paint Prints...I'm even using it in scrapbooks!
The entire set of markers, twinkling H2O's, Balmy Breezes, Winged Things and now I'm going to order shapes and shadows and who knows what else. If my DH still talks to me it will be a miracle, Type A's have a hard time between wanting and needing
JulieHRR forced me to buy Pure & Simple alphabet for making monogrammed cards.
JanTink MADE me buy Fresh Fruits
Lana left me no choice but to buy toucan of my love. I also found a whole baggies of those stumps or whatever they are called while setting up our church rummage sale, so I bought those, now I'm going to have to go buy Gamsol I suppose!

Of all of the sale sets, I only wanted two, but I finally bought five! (I liked the sentiments, but I'm trying to hold off 'til the next catalogue in the hope I can buy French ones). The gallery has amazing cards done with Stipple Celebrations, Something to Celebrate and Shapes and Shadows. And that's just the beginning of all that I have to have now that I'm familiar with SCS....
paisley! paisley! paisley! it arrived monday and was cut out and mounted within half an hour. no card yet, but coming soon

I found SCS about a month ago, and have felt compelled to buy Canvas, Cool Cat, Paisley, 3-4 of the March specials, Prismacolor pencils, reinkers (for bubble background technique and shaving cream), glossy card stock, wheel guide, plus things like shaving cream, mineral spirits, stumps, R.S.V.P.pens and who knows what else!!!!
The thing that SCS has inspired me to by would be MORE stuff to embellish my cards and scrapbooks with. I was limiting myself to eyelets, now I want to try soooo many new things.

Oh...Sincere Salutations and Something to Celebrate...March specials I didn't have...would have had to have the others if I didn't have them already!

I just broke down and emailed my demo to order the Paisley Print ! I couldn't help myself!!!! My DH called to say he was working late and I had to do something with myself, or was it the stamp devil that made me do it!!!!!!!!!
