Just what it states I'm crazy for punches (paper punches that is)
I love punch art and own well over 600 punches (you can see many of them in my gallery post featuring my scrap area)
When I first got on the net...way back when I wanted something that would show my southern heritage. southgirl fit, down here women of all ages are called girls. Maybe southoldbat would be better. After being "hit on" by some males on line I wish I had used southandroginus.
Mine is what we called our now in doggie heaven German Shepherd. When she was a pup she would pass gas, which smelled to high heaven. Her nick name became Stinky-Poo, and sometimes shortened to Stinky. She was dearly loved. Any way I can change it?
Greg's my DH and I'm his girl. I guess it sounds anti-feminist, but I'm just really HAPPY about it - 25 years and going strong! The first H had to go, not being quite so D, lol...
Comes from my email name of 25+ years. My first name plus Volunteers In Technical Assistance from my days as a volunteer at the New York State level of Literacy Volunteers. I traveled around the state training ESL tutors to be trainers of tutors and assisted with research for revising the ESL tutor training program.
My pseudonym is quite simple. Gothchic, the second half pronounced sheik is derived from my wardrobe of dark hues. As much as I like white and other light colors, over the years they have not been very kind to me. The last straw came a few years ago when my son and I were on a nature hike. I bent down to see what was moving in the bushes, only to have something above me explode. To this day I do not know if it was a squirrel or a bird, but the green slime ruined my cream shirt. I figure if mother nature craps upon me when I am wearing light colored clothes that I'd better stick to black or anything dark.
My name is Gillian-but its pronounced like it starts with a J. Jillian. Gillian is a European spelling of the name. My ancestors came from Nottingham, England, so Gillian was my name chosen by my Mom. So many people pronounce it incorrectly with a hard G, but it should be pronounced with a soft G or the J sound. One of my high school principles always called me Jill with a G--and it kind of stuck. The name automatically gets shortened to Jill, and that sticks too, but I spell it Gill.

Made me think of "Anne with an E" from Anne of Green Gables!
I only have 4 kids so 23 years.
I loved it . I was a quality control engineer for 7 years before I married and had kids. I tell people it was good training to teach.
My grandmother was born in about 1882 and sung "Shine on Harvestmoon" to us when we were young....early 1950s. I loved the picture on the sheet music and loved the real harvestmoons we have in Oklahoma.
I use it a lot and I'm too lazy to capitalize it.
It's always a challenge coming up with a "handle" for each site, although I admit to using the same one on a bunch of different sites. But on art sites, you gotta make an effort, right? ;) Anyway, I do love lemurs, and I like this photo of me with one on my shoulder, taken in Madagascar (one of those dream trips) a couple of years ago.

I have sung since I was 5 years old, sung and played keys through school and continue to this day. Back in the old days, a musician was called a minstrel, so...there ya go.
The first time I ever "wrote" anything on a message board was in a Disney newsgroup. I had lurked there for a couple of years before finally speaking up. They gave me the honorary title of "Bashful" (like Snow White's dwarf friend), because I was so shy (and I'm short).
Ever since then, just about every screen name I've ever had has been some form of bashful. When I signed up here, BashfulStamper just made sense.
(Truth is, I sometimes wonder if I jinxed myself, all those years back. Labeling myself Bashful just might not be the best way to overcome my shyness.)

One of my other hobbies when i'm not stamping, is riding my motorcycle. I have a 2014 Honda CTX DCT. I wanted to include my first name so I chose CTXDalene.
BJeans is for Beth - my first name, which isn't Elizabeth - and my tendency to think blue jeans (bjeans) appropriate for any time, any place, any occasion.
paris because I love Paris, France, the Eiffel Tower and everything French. The 062 part was the date I created the user name somewhere else. Cannot remember the year. My blog name is in French and means "pasted paper". My sister came up with it and I think it fits since everything I make involves paper and some sort of glue.
Cici is in my avatar, and Cara is our cat. Both still happy members of the family, even after all these years. Should be CicicaraMax now, though, since Max has come into our family, too.
In the old days when I was a kid, there was a home improvement store called Martin Paints that came out with a line for women (as though we needed different tools and supplies and paint from men) and that line was called Lady Martin. Since my father believed his children were born apprentices, instead of just kids) my older brothers gave me this "insulting" nickname when we were toiling. The nickname and DIY personality stuck....and now we compete over who has the best tools.
