:pI ordered one w/MIL gift money. I'm now making my cards from c/stock since I'm making more cards for my GI's. I've looked @ the S-P threads here for ideas. I asked DH to pay for a few basic supplies to bring the order up to $50 for free shipping. I picked up items I ran out of w/ my C-mas cards making. & some on my wishlist
I got box of blank envelopes, set of Momento metallic,a boxPop-up dots, & clear embossing powder from my twins.
All 3 girls went in on Net Flick for us for 6 mo's. I have plenty of movies to watch while I'm hiberating from being in from the flu. Jan left a chocolate scented candle wrapped up from T-giving.:rolleyes:I thought it was a jar of special jam or chutney etc. To my surprise early C-mas am I grabbed it thinking I could put it on my rice cracker.:o I first I saw "can",oh,candy, then the label said Choc. brownie. Oh! I get some brownie sauce. Then I see "lead free" What? I took off the rest of the paper. I open the jar it's a choc. candle That's what U get opening s/thing 1/2 asleep!!
I burnt it for supper the other nite,oh does it smell so good. Reminds me of the brownies Laura used to bake. The smell lingers around for awhile.
I just made choc. dip apricots from the Spanish Dk choc. bar Jan gave me. She sent a bunch of sugar -free candy for our stockings. Heidi sent some of her h-made truffles. They are better than any store bought ones.
DH is letting me get a chihuahua puppy from my n/bor that is black, tan & white like Taco who died a few C-mas ago.:mrgreen:A PUPPY!!

How cute to read this post....I got several things such as stamps....giggle I haven't cleaned my stamp room yet and I am darn jealous of those who know where things are. I think I could find Jimmy Hoffa if I just looked....closing doors are so much fun!!!!!
I just ordered an ATG gun and refills with Christmas $.
Am I going to have buyers remorse? Someone...tell me I wont!
Also considering spending some Christmsas money on organizers for my ink pads at OrganizeMore. Should I? Should I? Tell me I should. ;)
I DIDN'T get an archivers gift certificate which I was hoping to get. DH said since I was just in the store a week earlier, he didn't think there was anything else I wanted there!

I have an ATG and I LOVE it. So I THINK you won't have buyer's remorse.
Dunno about the 2nd question. I suck at organizing.
ETA:
Oh! To the OP: I got two shirts and a jacket. Not stamping-related BUT!! This means I won't have to waste any time shopping for shirts for the next year (hate shirt shopping) and can spend that time stamping instead!
I got a Cricut Expression! Actually, it was a combination birthday/Christmas present that I got back in August (for my birthday in Sept.) I also got 3 cartridges back when M's and J's were having great sales on them. Those were from DH & the kids. My BFF got me Cricut markers and the embossing kit. My BIL & SIL got me a Michael's gift card, and my mother got me a Cricut cartridge. And then there was CASH., clothes, and the new Star Trek movie on DVD. I guess you could say that Santa was very good to me this year!
I have to say that I have a wonderful husband and I really made out this year as far as stamping supplies go. Right before Christmas I found an SU demo who was selling everything that she owned and she lived near me. I mentioned it to my hubby who suggested we go and see what she had. He ended up buying me everything, over 70 stamp sets, a mountain of paper, punches, a Big Shot and dies, markers, ink pads and more. I'm still sorting through everything and trying to organize my craft room.

My DH got me a Genesis trimmer with the light attachment. I just tried it. It is so sturday, and wonderful. I think it's going to get plenty of use. I'm a lucky woman.

Actually nothing stamping related which was okay since there really isn't anything that I wanted or needed immediately.
My DH got me an Amazon Kindle! I love it! My nose has been glued to it. I heard my poor stamps crying for some attention the other night too! LMAO! I am really enjoying it and talking to other SCSers about their reading suggestions.
sadly nothing. With money being so tight, we decided just to make sure the kids got a few things this year. I usually get what i "need" during the year, and it was so much fun to see the kids faces when they were'nt expecting many presents...still not many but more then they asked for. I guess I am blessed with good kids that dont have the gimmies or iwants...they are 9 and 13 and their lists combined came to $62.00
Lets hope this coming year will be filled with prosperity for everyone.

Sounds like you have great kids who were raised by great parents who taught them well.

Awesome! I have my sister's 1st Gen Kindle. She gifted it to me after she bought an updated model (I think the 3rd Gen?). I ADORE it! I would never complain about mine because it was free, lol, but I also wouldn't complain if the battery life was longer, like yours looks like it is.
The nicest thing about mine is that it's synched with hers. I don't get any of the periodicals she gets, but any book that's on hers can be synched to mine as well.
You will LOVE this thing! I think the only things I would not want to use the Kindle for would be graphics-heavy things. For those, a real glossy photo in a book is still the best for me. Have fun!
