I have sketch it, french script, mixed bouquet, among many others. Other than those, what are your top 4 sets to get? I want to order this month and get some of the retiring sets, but can't decide, I appreciate any suggestions! Thanks!
Hmmm... well what are you in need of? Sentiments, children, floral, guy related. Tell us what style you enjoy outline or bold type stamps and we can help you a bit more.
Roses in Winter is my favorite. Use it for everything, cards, scrapbooks, candles, coasters, napkins. It is my most used set ever. Also love All Wrapped Up. It covers many occasions. Have fun picking!
I think you have picked three good ones! I love my mixed bouquet and french script, and cannot believe that these two are being retired. Sketch It is a pretty versatile stamp set.
Roses In Winter is on my MUST purchase list along with the Wash Day Jumbo wheel. For scrapbooking the Alphadots and Alphadots Numbers are a must have.
I'm on the fence about Petal Prints and Watercolor Garden. Can't decide if these are worth it or if something cooler may be in the new catty. Also, watercolor mini's. Kittie's card always are awesome and she uses this set alot, so I may need to purchase that one as well.
Okay, I'm going to show my age here. I bought Going Out in Style and the matching Jumbo Millinery wheel because they just remind me of the Red Hat Society! You never know, I might just join! In addition, I bought A Brighter Tomorrow and the Chrismas Carolers. My sister bought Crosshatch from me.
Just shows how different everyone's tastes can be. I don't have any of those on my list. I've got (and it's more than 4): Birthday Best, First in Fashion, Bubble Queen, Time with You, Still Life Stems, On Gossamer Wings and, just because I'm afraid I'll regret it later if I don't, Land that I Love. And, because that would put me in a position for hostess benefits, Blooming w/ Happiness and Happiest of Holidays. Now that I have my list, I need to find money somewhere!
Ok, great suggestions! I have A New Little Someone and the wash day wheel, I am thinking about RIW, but can't decide on that one. I have Whimiscal Upper Case, and was thinking about the lower case and the numbers, I think those two are my first 2 picks. I still want to get 2 more, my demo is having a special, buy 3 retiring sets and get the 4th one free. What do you all think about Ruff Day? Do you think there will be a cuter dog stamp in the new catty? I respect everyone's opinions on here, so keep the suggestions coming!!

I am on the fence about the crosshatch background. I have seen some cute ideas using it, but not sure how much I would use it. Have you gotten it yet? Have you used it alot?

don't have it in my little hands yet!!! i will actually have to wait till july to HAVE it... my demo is selling off a lot of the retireds but not till after the new catalog comes out. she put a list out for first come first serve and has tagged and will hold them. she can't sell them while they are still 'current'.
i have used crosshatch several times at card club and love it! i am trying to expand my BG collection (and punches)
I know I would love seaside sketches,I have Roses In Winter (and will NEVER part with it), I also recently got te recipe card one. I love to hand out recipes and thought that would be good for myself personally!
Roses in winter and french script are must haves from the retiring list. Can't go wrong with either one of them. Best of cluck and crosshatch are two other good ones to have.

I hesitate to advise you on the purchase, because it depends on where you are in your stamping experience. But I can tell you that over the past 8 years I've passed up many retired sets that I wish now I had bought. It's a tough decision! Luckily, we do have e-bay and stamping friends who are willing to part with some of the older sets.
My list left to purchase is more than 4:
Best of Cluck
Stay Tuned (the possibilities with that TV are endless!)
Stampin Fun for Everyone (Debbie Demo inside TV!)
Petal Prints
Seaside Sketches
Classic Trucks (still debating)
I have the following on reserve until after July 1 with a local demo:
Cheesecloth BG
Crosshatch BG
Love Ya Bunches!

I just checked out your gallery and it is so awesome!I love everything in your gallery! I am convinced that I need RIW and now the floral background as well ( but will wait on the floral background).
I needed more stamps for sympathy cards as well as florals, so I purchased:
Roses in Winter
Petal Prints
Brighter Tomorrow
I also couldn't let the Wash Day wheel get away from me or the French Script background. I *really* hope the retiring accessories list doesn't have items that are on my wish list. I've single-handedly helped my demo meet her quarterly minimums. I love tax refunds!
Pines (can't live in Alaska and *not* have Pines!!)
A New Little Someone w/matching Wash Day wheel
In the Wild (debating - have wanted this for a few years)
French Script BG (debating - ditto)
Sweet Talk (debating)
Madonna and Child (debating)
Brighter Tomorrow (debating)
Would love to have the Riveting hostess set, but my demo only does book orders, so no opportunity for hostess stamps...
FWIW - I already have Roses in Winter and Snowflakes -- highly recommend you grab these two!

What do you mean she only does book orders? I'm a demo and always give the hostess stamp set and free $ for the $150 order, unless it comes in at a workshop with another hostess. Then I try to throw in a free cattie or ink pad or something! Bummer!

I think you need a NEW demo..... you should check into at least placing an order w/ a demo who would give you the hostess bennies when you place a $150 order..
I've been looking at the list every day! I like sets that give me a variety of uses. I definitely need more sets I can use for guys. I'm planning so far on getting Espressoly For You, Expressively Flexible Phrases, Wonderful Words II, and Nice & Narrow. But I'm not done deciding!!!

Doesn't that order earn a set? and I sure hope she isn't collecting at your expense. I agree time for a new demo.
cheesecloth
halloween backgrounds
web wishes
computer quips
my sister on the other hand has a huge wishlist of retiring that she wants, lucky her, it's her birthday this friday and my family pitched in to get her some of them!
Well, no one's mentioned mine yet, I plan on getting Fresh Fillers, Hip, Hip Hooray and then possibly Artifacts. If my budget could get one more, it would probably be Pines. Hip Hip Hooray wasn't even on my list till a few days ago, but it has really grown on me. Funny how they do that, huh?
