Yeah, Sherry, I noticed that a couple of the other stamp companies are coming out with western stamps - including sentiments, silhouettes and borders, so you KNOW it is coming back - hope someone at SU is paying attention!!!

Here is my first "DA MAN" card - with I might add the only REAL man. The rest are just a bunch of pretenders and wannabee's!! The REAL man lives with me Deep in the Heart of TEXAS. Where else would he be???

I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but Shelli has her own blog now, and occassionally she blogs answers to all the questions she get on her blog. That's another way you could contact the head honcho herself and gently encourage her to bring some older sets back out of the "vault." You know kinda like Walt Disney does with some movies, bring them out and offer them to the next generation ;)

And the idea of a "cowgirl" set is like Grand Canyon awesome, along with some cute cowboy/girl sayings like:
Cowgirl up
Don't squat with your spurs on
Back off City Boy
Spurs and bling, it's a cowgirl thing

My DH's personal favorite: I hate to see her go, but I love to watch her leave :rolleyes: (and no I'd never make a card with that saying!)

Oh I got so many laughs reading this thread. I made a card with da man tonight for the TSC challenge that Greenie issued today, in her honor!
You ladies can all argue where da Man is but he is downstairs in my extra bedroom!! I don't own the set but a friend does and I borrow him a lot. You betcha spurs I'd buy him and any other set they want to come out with to match him and we would definitely need some new paper from SU to go with him! Yes they could make lots of moolah if they only listen to us! I will do all the emailing tomorrow and then I will get letters written and in the mail for Monday.

This is such an odd coincidence! I had a garage sale on Saturday, and I have the post sunburn peeling skin to prove it! Anyway, I put more than 70 SU! sets out there, including Wild Wild West. However, at the last minute, I brought him back in, and he's still sitting upstairs waiting to go back to my stamp room. He hasn't seen ink in at least five years, though, so I might still let him go. My obsession is not quite at the same level as some of you gals, not that there's anything wrong with that!;)

I guess the old west look and feel of the place does make me think of "Da Man"!!
