March is Oldies But Goodies Month - meaning share your creations with stamps made before 2005.** As with all unofficial challenges, the “rules” are flexible so it’s really about pulling out stamps you haven’t used in a while. The challenge was inspired by the following thread...
When l attempt to post to a specific gallery, I'm not finding it listed in the drop down box under galleries. Why is that?
Thanks for participating! there isn’t a gallery for our unofficial challenges. You just upload it to whatever gallery is appropriate (stamp set, technique, etc) and use the keyword OBGMONTH so that it shows up in a search.

Very few challenges have a drop-down choice: only the big events like VSN, Falliday Fest etc. All the normal daily challenges, both "official" and others, are purely keyword-driven; so you upload to your member gallery or relevant SU/Technique Spotlight gallery and simply make sure to include the keyword.
I broke the "rules" on my first card for this challenge - the bear is not from before 2000. The Script background stamp has a copyright date of 1999 and the sentiment by Darcie's is from 1996 according to the info on the block.
I think I might have to change the year to 2005 cause I have quite a few stamp sets with copyright right dates between 2000 and 2004.
yes!! I vote to change the year to 2005 and forward. From the looks of it, I got into stamping big time in 2003-2004. I'm sure I have a lot of older stamps, but a lot of them don't have dates on them.

I edited the original post to say 2005! March 2003 was when I caught the stamping bug.
Great! 2005 and forward......I think that is when I got into it also, big time. I was excited that people were selling some of the older sets that I didn't get the first time. Plus I bought old catalogs when I saw them. I'm 1997 to current catalogs for SU.

I know I have several sets 2005 and older. I do have some from the 90's but that takes a bit longer to figure out how old they are. Looks fun!

I played around with Wonderful Woodcuts (2001) today. I can’t decided if I like this set or not. My hubby is in an online so I can’t get to the desktop machine to edit the picture, but I’ll see if I can share it here.

I just got this set handed down to me by a local friend, and had been wanting it for years. I hadn't planned on coloring it when I saw it, but wanted something quick and easy for a guy's card. After seeing yours all colored in I'm thinking that it's even nicer than I thought. I love this card!

thanks for showing me how pretty they can be! I have them, and didn’t think of coloring them, just stamping them. I have a set from 1999 setting out to use, and sure I have more pre 2000.
Loving everyone's entries! Awesome cards! Can't believe I am just seeing this. DER!
I unblocked a lot of my rubber stamps, so I have no idea on the dates of a lot of them.
I used two sets from 1997 for this card. As I said in the description in the gallery, this is probably my all time favorite snow man stamp.
Oh my gosh, I love his plaid scarf! I'm also impressed by the 1997 date! Still haven't gotten time to stamp this week. We've been busy picking tile for the kitchen and entry way...not my favorite thing at all.

I did not realize when I was scrapping today, that this stamp set was so old. I still have the original blocks of this set with 1992 on it! I must have got it much later , though because I didn’t start buying SU! Stamps till late 90s or 2000.

Wow, I am impressed both by the age of the stamp set, and by how beautifully you stamped and colored that rose wreath. I thought the rose vine embellishment was a printed die cut. This is a gorgeous layout!

I made another card. I can remember being excited about the Ladybug Picnic stamp set when it first cane out - I think the images are adorable, but I didn't use it very often.
I am loving this challenge! I just finished a card with a Penny Black stamp from either 2000 or before. I have pulled out several stamps from way back. Hopefully I will get something created with a few soon and get photos taken. I am slow with the photos especially since we have had no sunshine for probably a week.

Oh my gosh, this is so cute. It really looks adorable with the patterned papers. No one would ever guess that stamp set is this old. Just shows how the card design and colors you choose can bring it up to date.

Not sure if I remember this set or not, but this really makes me smile. Love that kite-flying ladybug.

Thanks, Karen! I love the older sets. I need to use more of them! With this challenge now....I'm sure to pull those out and put them in this special gallery area. I just had to share a couple that I had already done.

I just used a small wood mounted butterfly stamp from 2000 here on this card and had to check the date because all I knew what that I've had it forever! This stamp is by Rubber Stampede.

Super adorable card, and those bees make me giggle! I have a lot of old Penny Black stamps around here somewhere and need to dig them out. These old-stamp designs are really inspiring me. Great idea from Pam!
