Oh! Sorry for the confusion. I see "From the Herd" in the CURRENT online store; just not in the new catalog. Sorry Ching and Kathy.
Sophie, From the Herd is in the current Occasions catalog which is to expire on June 2nd, same day as the main catalog. I didn't see it in the new one, which is what prompted me to finally order it. Hopefully I'll receive it by the end of this week or weekend.
How much is the SU Catalog? I have $9.95 in my head. tia
I think I finally can no longer resist From the Herd. Seeing it come up constantly in the SCS galleries has worn me weak.
I think it depends on where you get it. Several years ago the catalog was in the catalog for $9.95 as you remember it. Some demos charge $5, some charge $5 and include a gift certificate for $5 with your first purchase before a certain date. I give mine to my regular customers.
I finally have my copy and have a couple comments to make. The project life pages don't appeal to me at all, kinda waste of space to me that could have other things to sell me!
Also the in-colours... The mint intrugues me and I like the samples I see. But they have tried to pair it with some contradictory colours, like the brighter green. I don't understand the artistic direction there! I don't like clashing colours but maybe I'm set in my ways.
I agree. SU raised the prices so that it is even dollar amount. Not happy about the hostess rewards and not impressed with the selection of stamps. Not happy about the new In Colors. This catalog bombed out for me. I told my demonstrator not to expect too many orders from me this year. Boo hoo.
Re the catalog price. When I first started buying SU the catalog was 9.95 or free if you hosted a workshop. Some demos chose to give them away. Several years ago, SU reduced the price of it. A demo can order a single copy for $5.00, but they are not available in the on-line store for a customer to buy directly from SU.

Yes, they are. (I imagine the new one will be available once it is live.)

Thanks Patty. Yeah, they were $9.95 each when I was a demo, but I remember I could order them in the Demo supplies that shipped in a box (was it 8 at a time?). I gave them out for free too to my reg customers and current hostesses. I think I only sold the catalogs when I was doing local craft fairs. Thanks for making me feel sane. I couldn't figure out a way to order the catalog when browsing online.

Some prices actually went down, such as the embossing folders.
