I just put this in my google search frostwood lodge designer paper stampin up and the link to the holiday mini was first thing that popped up. Didn't expect that, I was just hoping to find a picture of the designer paper .
I know!! I just couldn't resist...had to look at the catty...

That was my short list! I also like the Out On A Limb set...so cute! I ordered a lot of Halloween last year and certainly don't need it (or anything else, really) but that's never seemed to slow me down before. I like the hanging bats in that set. I also like the clouds that could be used year round for all kinds of cute cards.
I like the fabric, too. I've never used it before...never ordered it. But, I might have to try it. I'm also not really a big time puch person, but I love the stocking punch and the set that goes with it.
I'm interested in seeing the mica flakes IRL...sounds great!

See what I mean, I'm in trouble.
I love the decor element that matches out on a limb (and I love the set too)! I want to find an old window or something to put the DE on so I can use it each year. I suppose I should go to some antique shops or something...
The fabric is super pretty. I don't sew or anything but this makes me want to. The bag we could buy at convention to hold the new scoring tool was made from it and it's so pretty! I like the DSP that matches as well.
The mica flakes were very pretty on real projects, very sparkly! I'm in trouble too!

Some pictures at the memento mall showed SU shopping bags, like the re-useable ones for the grocery. I thought if it's a non-pleated one with a narrow bottom, it would be perfect for the Simply Scoring.
I love the stocking die and punch! I'm putting up kitty-safe tree decorations again this year-paper, felt, fabric, stitched, with no metal hangers. Also like the Spice Cake paper-first fall themed paper I've liked in awhile-and the cute little stitched felt decorations and tiny jingle bells.
I'm a bit disappointed in the Pick Your Poison DSP paper in the mini. There's no green or purple in it and those are my favorite Halloween colors! I'll get the Frightful Sight paper from the main catalog instead. I already have the newer Scor Pal with the mat so I don't need the Simply Scored Tool. Also like the quilted ribbon, but I wish it came in a green too.
To take a side trail for a minute, here, do you find it funny how the new big catalogue is so kept under wraps and no one can ever seem to find an early link... and the mini is spotted a month ahead and they don't even try to shut down the leaks?
But all that said, I'm glad for the early look and I agree, there are some lovely new things in there. The velvet ribbon in cream looks so rich. I'm OK with it only being in cream. A couple Christmas sets I like and we'll see if I 'need' one or not ;) I'm not an implulse shopper and I need to think things through for awhile first. I have a workshop in October so I'll know by then.
Thanks to the folks that post the spoiler links! I always love checking out and making my SU shopping list! A lot of the items this year I will probably buy the similar version that is in the A Muse Studio catalog but I will definitely get the Halloween Creeps and probably the Piece of Poison too! I LOVE Halloween so much and I eagerly await the new releases each year!
I also love the vanilla velvet ribbon and the Halloween Singles stamps. I am finding it hard to resist the Stitched Stockings and matching punch. Oh, BOY! Am I in trouble, LOL!
Now that I have seen sneaks of the mini catalogue itself, my question is how long until the stamp sets are listed in the SCS gallery? And how long until samples start to show up?
I really want to see samples for some of the sets so I can decide what I want.

LOL, it is supposed to be that way with the mini too, but once they post the link for demonstrators, if it gets out on the web, there isn't much that can be done about it.
They have always said we can post pics of actual projects, just not stuff from the actual publications or pictures of the products themselves. I think the difference for this mini is that we happened to see it first at convention where they had projects for us to photograph, the rest of the year we can't really do that.
At any rate, there is just way too much that I want in there. I can't wait to order!

If the frostwood dsp is that cozy plaid, it's my favorite too. It will be so wonderful for masculine cards! I can see myself getting two packs! I really love the birch bark too!

I think I'll dive in, too! I'll just be a hobby demo for a quarter, long enough to support the economy and buy some fun stuff!

Hmmm, seems like I remember saying this too about just signing up for a quarter so that I could help my girl scout troop do some fundraising. That was 13 years ago and I am still a demo!

Hehe:-) Funny how that happens huh? And then you get to go to convention and eat yummy Thai food with your fellow crazy stampers!!!
I must be weird or maybe it's because I have too many toys that nothing grabs me. I just scrolled thru the new mini and didn't see anything to put on my "must have" list. Perhaps after samples start appearing in the gallery, I'll change my mind. Right now, my bank account thanks me :>)

Funny how that is, isn't it? I know I have read so many threads about the mini and when everyone's raving about it, I'm thinking "I must really have strange taste because I don't like any of it!"
I can't say I was wowed by any of the Christmas stuff, except for that Frostwood paper, but what grabbed me this time around was the two fall(not Halloween) sets along with the Spice something-or-other DP. I also really love the Valentine set that's in there.

I bought several things from the Winter/Valentine (can't remember what it is called), but didn't buy a thing from the Summer mini.

Sometimes things don't grab me in the catalog and then when I go to Stamp Club and see my demo using it I change my mind and have to have it!
Does anyone have the pdf link for the Canadian mini please?
In past years, just substituting the US for CA or CAN in the URL has worked, but not this year. I'm curious to see our prices as the CDN dollar is much stronger at the moment however I suspect as in the main catalogue we'll still be paying much higher prices.
