If you already have them, go ahead. I can't remember if I listed all the SAB sets in the thread yet, but the galleries are created for an of them. I'll update the list tomorrow most likely.
After 6 years of great work, Karen is stepping back. Thank you for all you did, Karen.
I've started processing the cards that are still in the Index Cards gallery, and will update the following threads to reflect this.
History
Way back in 2004, the idea was developed to have an index card at the beginning of each gallery to show all the stamps in the set. This project continues over time as SU! continually adds new sets. The trick to this project is getting people like you to take your new sets and make index cards every time new stamp sets come out.
What is an Index Card?
It is a stamped panel or card made from all of the images of a given stamp set--like these: Index Card Example Alphabet Example
An index card allows you to see all the stamped images in a set, without having to flip through your catalog or retired catalogs as the case may be. They are especially helpful for when the new sets come out and you want to see the stamps in a set before you have an SU! catalog in hand.
Stampin' Up!'s copyright rules do not allow us to just photo copy the stickers. Instead, the goal is to stamp each image (and only the images from that set). If you wish to make the index card like a handmade card, that is fine - just don't obscure any of the images - remember the focus should be on each image.
What can I do to Help?
Look over the list below and decide if you have any of the stamp sets. If you do, post to this thread which stamp sets you'd be willing to make an index card. I will post to this thread to confirm that you have been assigned the sets you want to do (to make sure there are no duplicate efforts by all of you). Go and make your best card front with each image in your stamp sets and upload the images to the card gallery (either your own member gallery or to the Index Gallery {Special Collections -> Index Cards}. Then post to this thread so I know it has been completed. I'll do the rest!

The lists in the next couple of posts contain the new and old sets that still need index cards. If there is a name by the set, then there is a volunteer already for that set.

Not a rose ;-). They're grown from bulbs, and come in wonderful bright colours. Thank you.
Oh, now that I'm awake, I get you. Yes, the person who gives me the set names to create the gallery listings gave me the correct title last week and I fixed it in the gallery lisitings...but I didn't think to come and also update the name here.
And thanks, VikkiJo, I'll grab the last few of those today. I'm sorry I didn't realise you had uploaded more after the bunch I processed on Jan 18.
Phew! I was worried I uploaded them wrong. Somehow, I have a few that repeated and uploaded multiple times, funny considering I couldn't upload anything to start the day.

I didn't mention it on Boo To You. It is the old style red rubber with the stickers that do not stick. Glad these index cards we stamped work. I said we as I had a bit of help; my daughter is the Halloween person and she took care of Boo To You.

No, but you did on the other two, and that saves me time looking it up on old blog posts, and is very much appreciated . The gallery listings give me the catalog or mini they were released in, so that's always easy to check. The photo I found of Boo to You set showed it as cling.

Ah. I think sometimes if there were not a certain number of uploads in a gallery, sometimes Karen deleted the gallery, and that may not have been updated in the list here. It's not something I personally have made time to check since I took it on. I know that I was surprised to create a card for a gallery I had created the index for and find there was no longer a gallery, and that was the explanation Karen gave me.
If you care to make one for Playful Pennants, I can assign it to galleryindex as the username and member gallery it shows in so that there is a record of it, but that's entirely up to you. I'll delete it from the list when I'm at the PC. Sorry about that.

When I did a General search for Playful Pennants a few cards popped up so

There are quite a lot of index cards with no assigned gallery - but they will show if anyone does an Advanced Search using galleryindex as the user name. That has, for years, been my primary way of trying to identify SU sets when people don't specify a set name - a couple of keywords and that username. So certainly I can do that if you make one for Playful Pennants.
