i've recently found myself with lots of time on my hands -- after 15 years i was laid off *sigh*. it's all good -- time for something new --
anyway --
so i've been thinking about doing some craft sales and stuff -- or maybe etsy.com
so, if i use stampin' up stamps - how does that work? do i have to make note of the company somewhere or something?????
anyone have any ideas on things to make -- what to do - how to get started?
i know i probably won't make tons of money -- but it will fill some time while trying to figure out "what i want to be when i grow up" -- been thinking about going back to school
TIA for any help --
--d

Reason: oops -- bad typo ;)
I rummaged around and found this thread: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
It has some good tips for selling:
Besides Etsy and Ebay, also try local flower shops, and school swim team fundraisers. *grin*

If you go to http://www.stampinup.com/us/enu/4330.asp you will see a link to Stampin' Up!s Angel Policy. Angel Policies are company rules for using their products and what kind of copyright notice you have to use. It varies from company to company.
so, if i use stampin' up stamps - how does that work? do i have to make note of the company somewhere or something?????
as others have mentioned here, SU! has an angel policy which defines the terms for making and selling items with their images. many stamp companies have angel policies - and i've tried to incorporate them into a single source. so, if you're thinking of selling hand-stamped items, this list might help you.
the list has over 3000 views, so i'm guessing it's useful to some ;)
Angel Policies
I have a sister who is an SU! demo and she was telling me that only demos need to use the angel policy stamp on the back of items they are selling.
Personally I read the Angel Policy as meaning anyone who sells has to have a angel policy stamp on the item.
Feedback?

It is indeed anyone who sells items made with Stampin' Up! images.
I have sold some stamp sets on ebay, which would get more notice, larger line of
people checking rubber stamps and supplies. I was never denied any form of selling them, and many people sell stampin up on ebay. Do you have an ebay account, it's easier to sell if you have some purchases behind you, but it's not hard to sell on ebay. However, I would probably only sell the rarer/older sets. check ebay first to see if someone else is selling that set. The selling forum on this site is also free, maybe that would work first, though I would require people to purchase a delviery confirmation for both seller/buyer protection.
