Stamp pad storage
Hello Ladies,
I now have a ton of the Stampin' Up! stamp pads. I am looking for a good container to store them. I like the storage rack in the Stampin' Up! catalog, but I just can't spend that kind of money on storage right now. I know you creative ladies have probably found some storage solutions that are perfect and inexpensive. I currently have them in the drawer of a small rolling cart, but they slide around and it's difficult to find the pad I'm looking for. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Amber

I put mine in the photo storage boxes that you can buy just about anywhere. One box holds about 20 (10 in each row of 2) and you can easily see the colors with them standing on end.

I keep mine in an old wooden cassette tape holder that we had laying around, DH is going to mount it on the wall this weekend for me. Mine will hold 100 stamps pads. Love it.

Be careful if you are storing them on end -- they were designed to be stored flat so the pad is upside down. If you store them on end, the ink will flow and pool at the end and may give you a funky image when using the pad. Just a thought...

A lot of people are in love with the Stackebo DVD storage racks from Ikea. Do a gallery search for pictures. Each rack (which attach to the wall) can hold 17 pads. And they are only $5.

I second Kelly, I have 4 of 'em and I'm going back for two more, I think. They are awesome, compact, and serve the purpose!

if you have a dollar tree nearby they sell stacking mini crates...you can fit them 2 across laying flat and about 8 high...so 16 in a crate..I have 4 of them storing my pads, boxes of spots, and CD cases of unmounteds.

What about the spots? Anyone found a great way to store those? The fact that they aren't visible because they are in the box tucked away on the shelf....I don't use them!
