Default Stamp artist? (Mostly Animals)

Apologies in advance if this is not the place to post this.

I recently came across this stamp...

It was for sale on Ebay. It's from 'Mostly Animals'. From searching another thread on this forum I found out that the store is out of business now. I have a large scan of the artwork (I found online), but it had no source. Does anyone know the original artist? I've tried using reverse image search to no avail. :-(

Mostly Animals was around in the 90's and they had beautiful stamps. i don't know the artist. Here is a page maintained by RubberStampMadness about older stamp companies, called "Where are they now?" Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

I thought they must have been around in the 90s! I born in 93' so, too young to appreciate the lovely stamps from the time period, haha. I've seen some old 'MA' stamps being sold on Ebay, I love the style.

Thank you for the link, I will check them out too!

Hmm. I tried to back into it via angel policy-they sometimes mention the artist. No luck. Sorry. Being the 90s there just wont be as much for them as if it was today....

Also, the company could have had more than one artist.

This may be a longshot, perhaps you could contact someone from Rubberstamp Madness. I suggest this because the magazine has been around for a while and they have always been a good source for stamp company info.

Aw thanks for trying Wavejumper! Yeah that's the unfortunate part, not much of a paper trail for these old stamps.

Yeah I was thinking...judging by the small amount I've seen, it looks like there was multiple artists being used for Mostly Animals stamps. Idk, I just feel like I've seen other wolf art that was very similar to the style in the stamp I posted. I would be elated if I found the artist.

Great suggestion Barb! I will try this, it's definitely worth a shot.

You guys are so helpful! Thank you
