A company I haven't seen mentioned yet is Hambo Stamps - Go ahead, laugh at us! - I've ordered from them a couple of times and the shipping is wicked fast and Monica charges you only the price she actually pays for shipping. She's also super nice and helpful - and most of their stamps you have a choice of ordering on wood mount, cling mount or bare rubber.
The only drawback is that their website doesn't have a shopping cart. You e-mail a list of what you want, Monica replies with a quote on shipping and then you let her know whether to place the order or not.
Gina K is great. Highly recommended. Other companies I recommend are Verses Rubber Stamp, Motivet, Whiff of Joy, Lili of the Valley, JudiKins, Justrite Stampers, Inkadinkado, Darcie, Flourishes, Stampendous, Hero Arts, Penny Black, Forever Friends (only available from UK), There She Goes. I like JudiKins' embossing powder. Verses RS has alot of meaningful rubberstamps. Flourishes images are quite detailed. Motivet images are mainly cute. Like WoJ bcs of Elizebeth Bell's creations.
Ted I am a Gina K fan, the best service and the best paper and I love her stamp tv. I also love flourishes, they are about elegance and they have excellent service and their stamps stamp like rubber just like Mark's Finest paper stamps, ( both have polymer stamps).

Oh yes, another one more that I forgot but if you like nature this one has very flexible images and shipping is fast. The stamps comes mounted and unmounted and is reasonably priced. You can also check out some of the threads devoted to this brand in the forum and gallery.Stampscapes.
I like Northwoods Rubber Stamps too. If you don't mind digital stamps you can try Di's Digital Download. Greeting Farm is another line of cute stamps that I will recommend. They have digis too.
Ted, you can't miss with that fabulous lighthouse set from Mark's Finest Papers. Faith provides wonderful customer service and has such a variety of supplies as well as fabulous sets.

Thank you all for these great resources. I agree with Joan... this is a wonderful thread and I thank each of you for it.
Liz, I am eying that lighthouse set more and more...but I'm curious about one thing. It says it's a 4 x 6 set. Wouldn't that make the lighthouses very small? If you happen to have the set, would you be willing to measure the lighthouses and house images for me to give me an idea of their sizes?
Thanks!

I've been wanting to try different stamp companies as well (main company being PTI), but so far I've only tried WaltzingMouse. The problem is that I am not attracted to other designs (MFT, GinaK, etc). Even with the WMS sets, I only bought the Spellbinder compatible ones.
I dont love every PTI set, but I can find at least one set that I would use in every release and that doesnt happen for other companies.
I've had wonderful service from several of the member companies here on Splitcoast: Unity; MFT; Verve and Crafty Secrets. All top notch experiences!
In full disclosure, I am the online coordinator with Technique Tuesday now, but I was a customer long before that and had great service, too.
I've also had great experience with Stampscapes and Judikins!

Although I much prefer rubber (wood-mounted or cling) there are reasons to consider clear stamps so I'd like to know some preferred companies (I am most likely going to use StazOn ink and Ultra Clean because I usually color with pencils or watercolor crayons).
I have set(s) from MFT and Inky Antics that I like. I have clear sets from other companies but they have not yet been used.
I have been ordering a lot this year from Flourishes and CTMH. I have been extremely happy with the quality of stamps from both companies. I got into the copic craze this year. Flourishes has such beautiful line stamps for use with copics. CTMH has a lot of different styles of stamps in its catalog. I have purchased several this year.
I have not tried Waltzingmouse yet, but I have been eyeing some stamp from there. I think that will be the next company for me to explore.

Thanks ... one of my yet-to-be inked sets is by CTMH! I think UltraClean (by Superior) being fine to use on clear stamps makes me more willing to try them. I never mind stained stamps but they do need to be cleaned between colors or when the ink has built up to distort the image.
I haven't had time to read other recommendations and I haven't ordered from the companies you've listed. But I LOVE The Greeting Farm, Bella Stamps (their Owlies in particular) and Pink Cat Studio!
I cant give feedback on the questions the OP asked because I am not familiar with the companies but my favorite 'other' brands are Crafty Secrets and Bombshell. Both are good quality and have great customer service.
Thank you, Paula...and to everybody who continues to give me resources.
So many resources...so little money! ROFL! ;)
Merry Christmas, one and all!
Ted, aren't you glad you asked? LOL.. Splitcoast is an amazing resource but EXTREEEEEEMELY enabling..LOL
Happy stamping.. always use images that you love..That's the most important advice in stamping.. Use stamps that YOU relate to. Once you see these stamps, the rest is history and it will guarantee you using them
My last two orders were with Art Impressions (great characters and watercolor stamps) and with Impression Obsession (fabulous nautical, scenery stamps, plus grab bags for $10 that are super.) Both stamp companies have excellent customer service and fast shipping.

You had me with "Nautical"... love that theme!
The prices don't seem TOO bad, but still not extremely inexpensive (at least for the rubber)... one lighthouse stamp is about $10.00 unmounted with cling foam.
Maybe I've been spoiled with PTI's prices? ;)

Merry Christmas! ( It would take way too long to list all the companies i Love...)
this is an (outdated) blog that is nothing but stamp mug shots that I own ( used to pif (horsetrade) images alot a while back... each company has a "post" so... the stamps are mostly shot on an fiskars self healing mat with 1" grid squares to give you some size ideas... JBgreendawn's Stamps
another thought, is Personal Stamp Exchange ( PSX ) they are not in business anymore but, you can find the stamps (beautifully wood mounted rubber) second hand, and Inkadinkado has bought the rights to reproduce some of their images ( they call theirs fine line classics)
Ted, great thread.....I've seen your posts on another forum where I post as well....I think I have had similar problems with that company. I love the sets, but will branch out to other companies more regularly from now on.
I now have many more companies to look to for my next order.....thanks to everyone who posted, some i know, others are brand new to me.
Have to agree.....Gina K is wonderful and i am so glad the stamps are now precut....that has kept me from ordering more stamps from her. Her paper is the best though.....and I love stamp TV.
From reading all the above, customer service seems to be so important...it is for me. And that's where i have been most disappointed in one company lately. That makes a huge difference to me. Perhaps someone there will see this post and take it to heart.

With the new website the company is working on, there are many improvements coming. I think we all need a little patience. I'm looking forward to all the new innovative products they always provide.
You know, as important as Customer Service is when buying products, so is the Angel Policy to me. If a company doesn't allow me to sell my handmade card with their images I don't give them my business. Good thing there are so many companies out there to choose from!! I too am thinking about venturing out and trying something different, so this thread is very helpful!
I'd like to add one of my favorites, Crafty Secrets, to the list. Their products are of good quality, I've had great luck with their customer service, and I have always received orders quickly.

Wow, The Angel Company looks intriguing, but I've been-there-done-that with SU! and I don't want to go through the hassle of worrying if anything on my blog is not in "compliance" with a company.
