Default Simon Says Stamp Mystery Sale

Simon is running a Mystery Sale until the 31st (code: LUCKY777). There are 50 brands included but they're not telling you which.

I, personally, get turned off by sales like this because its frustrating to keep adding product to the cart just to find out its not part of the sale. And this one is no different. I finally gave up and by the time I went to checkout, an item was out of stock. Cancelled the whole order.

To save someone else the trouble, I thought I'd share the small number I did find for some brands that were - or were not - included:

Included
Simon Says Stamp
Whimsy Stamps
Waffle Flower
Sizzix
Spellbinders

NOT Included
Crafter's Companion
Ranger
Hero Arts
Couture Creations
Tonic
Picket Fence
Therm-O-Web

I had some time to kill, so I added one item from each brand to my cart and checked to see which ones were discounted (it doesn't show each item's individual discount, so I just deleted the items one by one and checked to see if the total discount amount changed). Here is the list of 56 brands that I found that are part of the sale. Happy Shopping!

Wow Jenny! Thank you!

I totally agree with the OP. This kind of sale IS aggravating. I just checked items in my wishlist and stopped. I will not do any impulse shopping under that sale.

I have to say though I am glad to see they are in the mix bc often they have sales for everyone but them and then do themselves separately.

They sold out of a Simon Says Stamp set that I wanted, so I added the stamp and die bundle to my cart. Sadly the bundle is not on sale.

Honey Bee and the Stamp Market are also not part of the sale.

What's been frustrating for me is that the entire discount doesn't always show up in the cart. If I click to go to checkout, the discount increases.

The way I save myself aggravation (and money) is to shop a select few websites that are pretty brand-specific. Purple Onion Designs and Unity are two that regularly get my crafting dollars, for example. A sale like this would drive me bat-**** crazy! Life is too short to waste on a wild goose hunt like the one described. Wavejumper has the next-best idea - ONLY see if what's on your wish list is on sale. Kudos to J7Ries for having the patience (and time - I'm jealous) to create a list for y'all...

I really like SSS but wouldn’t put forth the effort for this sale. But it doesn’t bother me. There are so many sales from so many companies so absurdly often, I probably only look at 10% of them. After a while it’s burnout.

I totally agree with the OP. No one has the time to "solve" the "mystery". I put a few items that I have been wanting in my cart and when the price didn't change, I quit. Weird though, one of the items was an SSS item. I guess I didn't go far enough in the checkout process to see a discount.
