Default Sending upload as an e-card

I am so excited! I tried something new and it worked - when it comes to computers, this is an accomplishment.

I wanted to send a card for an RAK, and decided to try the link found below the description of the uploaded card. You can apparently do this without knowing the e-mail address - simply use the SCS user name. It reached its destination! I know, it is not the same as having someone's card in hand, but it is an alternative.

Have others tried this? I would be interested in hearing your reaction. And maybe we can send to non SCS members? I did not try that. (You can even type in a message to show up below the card.)

Oh, I've sent e-cards to e-mail addresses, specifically to my boyfriend (he's not on SCS!):mrgreen:

I think I sent him a couple of cards out of that...naughty swap...what's it called? I can't remember the name now...but they come up with some HILARIOUS cards! (Right up my alley!):mrgreen:

Well, I was the recipient of your test e-card through SCS and it worked beautifully! So as the person on the other end, I can say my experience with this was very pleasant, I got a beautiful and awsome e-card from Dorothy (etsdas). And even more awesome than that, is the fact that Dorothy sends the real and actual cards off to be mailed to the troops! I think that is a very nice gesture and I know the actual recipients of Dorothy's cards are as thrilled to get them as I was to get my e-card! Thanks Dorothy!

Cindy, you are much too kind. But, what fun to send our own cards instead of commercial ones!

I send many of my scrapbook pages to my Mom and Dad via ecards. They never check my gallery and rarely check my blog.
