Default In search of.....

I have been away for a bit so some guidance is needed and hope that some may point me in a great direction.

1st. I am looking for a great place to buy a scrapbook album. I have been to my local craft stores, and searched on line, I am looking for a Forest Green Leather bound book. I seem to be striking out. Next, what is better 3 ring bind or post bound. Is one better than the other....

2nd. The scrapbook I am doing is for a Retired game warden, have you seen any embellishments or paper that is related to the forest service? I think I am going out on a limb with that...

3rd. What are some of the Scrapbook sights you use.

Thank you for your help.

May be worth looking at Scrapbooking, Stamping, Cardmaking Tools & Supplies | Archivers Annex they are going out of business in the next few weeks but have been good to deal with in person. HTH

here's a forest green album: KMA Forest Green 12 x 12 Album

It may be too cutesy for a retiree, but Lawn Fawn's Into the Woods line is fitting.

I much prefer 3 ring albums over post bound as they suit out-of-order scrapping' better and they can hold a lot more pages (even fat ones) without falling apart. As far as forest service stuff, I would look for general outdoors/camping themes and adapt it for your needs.

Check out Close to my Heart! Their new spring/summer book goes live Feb. 1 and they have a very cool new scrapbook kit called Timberline. Perfect for your forest service theme!
