Scrapbooking ideas please

Hi ladies,
I'm quite new here at splitcoast :oops: but wondered if I could ask a question about scrap booking, up until now I've been happily making cards/bags/tags etc but I really want to have a go at scrap booking, I've only ever done one scrap page and I was quite happy with it but I want to try more, I wondered if you could give me any ideas, tips & hints about it, or maybe guide me to scrap pages that you've made for ideas.

You might also want to look at sites specifically geared to scrapbooking - like Scrapbook.com. As far as I know, they are the largest scrapbooking site - like SCS is geared to stamping...

Thank you holtzfan, I've seen a few YT videos and loved them, but I dare not go near Pinterest I get sucked into it for hours when I'm there lol. Some of the scrap page videos I've seen have been quite basic and although I'm new to it I really want to be adventurous (risky I know) but it's knowing where to place different elements & textures, I guess playing around with them until it feels they look right, I just won't glue anything down at first

Thanks Cat_woman, I've not heard of that site I will check that out, I do want to include stamping on the pages too as I love stamping.

Oh wow! Thank you so much ladies, you have certainly helped inspire me, some fantastic links here, I shall have a longer look this afternoon at them and hopefully get started on my second scrap page after that, if I think it's turned out worthy enough I might even enter a scrap booking challenge. I hope you will join in with the chatter at January 2014 Scrap Pages & Chatter -- sbc14jan by Lmn at Splitcoaststampers , we are a friendly group of ladies. You will see that we usually set a goal each month on how many pages we want to scrap, some are high goals some are low, some months the goals are reached some months not a single page gets done! It's all about giving each other encouragement, tips, answer questions, and having a good time.

I do a lot of the challenges on Scrapbook.com too, but the ladies here have been my first inspiration for scrapping!
