Idea Recycling cards

Some of you may already re-use the cards you've received from friends and family in your card making. I save mine with the intention to do so, but this video is inspiring me to do something with them...

I love Crafting Vicky!  Her videos about using up your scraps and recycling cards are really inspirational to me.

That was cool! She really envisions many ways to use up every bit!

That was how I started out making cards.  My Mum loved the English robins so when she was alive, I would recycle all the robin cards I received for her.  Here's a photo of 6 of them I uploaded to my SCS gallery:

I still occasionally do it if I receive a card that is just too beautiful to put in recycling.

My daughter got me a window die and I found that many of the cards I received work great as a "scene" in the window.  I have made several cards with this method.  Here is one I did.

I've created and found tons of ideas for using old Christmas cards as I can never bring myself to dispose of them.

Not only am I going to recycle holiday cards, I'll recycle all those beautiful birthdays cards that I've been hanging on to giving them new life.
