Default Recollection cutting template

I got this recollection cutting template from michael’s today, but i can’t find a sandwich recipe for it. Any thoughts? I’ve tried the usually closed multipurpose plate and 2 acrylic plates with the paper and die in between, but it’s very tight (and i don’t want to damage my die, and it makes a cracking sound...). Going 1 sheet less goes through but doesn’t cut. Thoughts? I’ve tried a solo thin die adapter, but no luck there...

I think the cracking sound is probably the die cutting into the acrylic plate. Happens to me all the time with my cuttlebug.

Try using a metal shim.

If you're using a Big Shot, Sizzix make a Thin die Adapter plate for Intricate dies. Link HERE for the Sizzix site, but probably available in other places.

I wouldn't worry about the crackling sound; it's a sound I enjoy hearing because I know that the die is cutting through the paper. even though it is tight, as long as you're not forcing it through your machine, you should be okay. sometimes we tend to think the dies are fragile, which they are not. good luck
